That's about it. Sound shows much promise Fruitdealer did pretty well at IEMNY Trickster is there too Ace/Squirtle are good protosses Curious is now Code S and looks scary Virus is a consistent Code S terran Sound is still growing, but will be great... FD has done FUCK ALL before IEMNY... But he did show great games there. Trickster is hit and miss. I'll give you that Ace/Squirtle are good... But we're looking for Great with the hype of this... Curious I will admit I forgot about, and he is a SICK nerd baller. Virus is consistent Code S fodder... Except for one season. but I may be wrong and I'm to lazy to go check XD.
Fruitdealer won fucking GSL season 1. The first. When Zerg were struggling to find a hero, he won the first open. He could kill (a few) puppies and I'd still love him...
Well I dont know if ST is too far fetched, but if its true, that damn big

They have the Beta allstars lol, Rainbow, FD, tester. At this point all 3 of them are pretty underwhelming with only FD being in code A. I guess he did pretty well at IEM NY too. They have Squirtle and Ace who were both pretty hyped a few months ago. They have Curious who just won code A. I think thats it..
Rainbow and FD are still good. Along with Tester they are all as good as almost any top NA/EU player.
Squirtle and AcE are still really good, still hype, prepare for them when they reach codea/s.
Curious, Virus, Bomber and July are their current heavy hitters.
Their underrated players are Superstar (brood war player), Hack and Sound.
The whole team is solid overall, with the player with the best macro (Bomber) in the game on their team.

My guess is QxG players and EG players have a pro-team alliance with either ST or SlayerS. Boxer seemed very friendly with Greg at MLG.

This would be interesting, and not impossible.

So how do we know that the whole quantic video isn't just destiny trolling EG? The bomberman music makes me pretty sure that Startale has something to do with the announcement, but the only part of eg's video that we think has anything to do with quantic is the "there were two.". That could just be huk and puma though, instead of huk and sase; puma only was in America for a few weeks around ipl3 and mlg, so there were already two eg members living in Korea long term. Or it could be some three team thing with Startale and eg and quantic. But I don't think we can ignore the possibility that destiny's just trolling eg when he knows they can't respond.

Let's just keep it simple what do this 4 videos tell us?
M68-HYDRA: 'Anouncement at 21.10.2011' M5-SERPENS: 'Release of the Titan Kraken' ARA-55: 'HuKs first LAN Event' PICTOR-55: 'Bunker-Changes'
So it will just be something like:
M68-HYDRA: 'Anouncement at 21.10.2011' M5-SERPENS: A New, but already known Player for EG.. ARA-55: This player hasn't played SC2 at a LAN yet. PICTOR-55: 'This player is either Terran or known for something involving a Bunker (like Yellow)'
First thing, that comes to mind: A player that matches this, has to be a 'famous' former brood war player, that hasn't played SC2 at a major LAN yet and is either Yellow (don't know other sc1 pros with this match) or a Terran.
Might be Flash , might be Yellow. I don't know. But something along the lines.

Might be Flash , might be Yellow. I don't know. But something along the lines. This topic is getting quite hilarious same as the one about Bisu, Jaedong, Fantasy and Jangbi going to Blizzcon. You really think that someone like Flash will quit BW and start playing SC2?

if this isn't a Korean player, huge dissapoint

Might be Flash , might be Yellow. I don't know. But something along the lines. there's absolutely no way EG could afford flash to begin with, not even counting the fact that he won't switch to sc2 yet for many reasons, and he most likely won't join a foreign team if he switches
yellow's first sc2 lan was the gsl code a qualifiers, so he has been to a lan already
also, the release the kracken video was almost 100% sure referring to idra

Well they better not entice someone away from BW. I doubt it, but who knows. I also hope it's not EG/Slayers b/c I love Boxer and dislike Idra. They are polar opposites in every way.

What do you mean? He's back in Code S as of MLG Orlando.

It's obviously Uniden to EG.

Hes talking nonsense. Hes implying that Orlando was a weak attempt not worthy of code S.

im thinking, these vids have been about releasing the gracken, and talking alot about terran, and something to do with blizzcon? did i read somewhere that 4 of the top BW pros are coming over for blizzcon....? and didnt idra play terran in bw?

So, EG is creating a new teamhouse with Startale? That's what it seems like from all the information gathered so far.
|
It's clear that this is related to the move to korea. Anyone who has read their past talk knows they are heading over there shortly.
It's probably something more like a GSTL team in Korea, maybe adding another not-huge-profile-player.
