I can just imagine EG announcing on the 21st/22nd at Blizzcon about EG/Quantic teaming up in Korea. It would be flat and a lot of people going, 'duhhhhh. we totally knew that alreaddddy!' just like EGHuk. I don't think EG would allow Quantic to spoil their big announcement just like that. I mean, it freaking flashed the EG symbol. How more obvious could it be?
I do like the July proposal. I'd just like to point out that if they are doing this announcments togheter to join forces in some way, then they are most likely in contact about the videos they are releasing for the hype as well?
That's what I mean. If EG's big announcement is Quantic-EG teaming up and going to Korea, then the Quantic video basically gave that clearly away. It feels like there is something more or it's just a nicely placed red herring. EG wouldn't create that new gigantic site and then let Quantic (who must be in contact with EG in some way with the flashing logo) point everyone towards the most obvious answer with three days left to the announcement, right?

I think that's a good point.
I'm interesting in seeing more stars light up on the website Maybe they'll outline something too ^^

Only worthy of the hype if it's Savior imo. Everybody deserves a chance at redemption

Didn't he just sign a new deal with Millenium?

I got it! Guess whats happening on the 22nd? BlizzCon! Whats happening at BlizzCon? Slasher is getting his head shaved by EGs very own IdrA. EG is acquiring Slasher's hair! EGSlashersHair. Anyone else think there is more to Slasher's hair that we don't know yet? Maybe its alive and can beat DjWheat in the show match on December 4th!

a GSTL team of Idra, Puma, Demuslim, Huk, Sase, Destiny would be pretty formittable. They'd still need another player or two I think. Maybe Sen or White-Ra?
edit:
nevermind on the Sen or White-Ra. Now that I think about it the extra players would be those who accept code A invites from mlg.

Just a few thoughts off my mind. EG and Quantic having a show match maybe. Idra and Huk going to Korea maybe or and i know its a really long shot in that they could merge?
Know soem of these ideas have been said and are a little unlikely but its worth a shot :D

I really think the star motif is just because the game is Starcraft.

Here's an idea. EG could have used any video of Huk on that site, but they picked one from when he was on Millenium.
Who's the most talked about player on Millenium now?
|
I like how the Huk interview is misleadingly pointing towards Millenium I was already speculating after the first 3 seconds I caught Artosis mention Millenium ^^

After how anticlimactic the previous EG announcements were, combined with my general dislike of EG... I find it extremely hard to believe that this announcement will leave me anything but blasé or apathetic.

Well Sen is in Taiwan, White-Ra just started his own Protoss team, and I don't really see Demuslim or Destiny performing nearly as well as the other four... but maybe with some Korean training!
EDIT: I originally said Thailand lol x.x

Special guest star Stephano with EG in Korea?
I thought he didn't switch to Complexity because he had no intention of going to Korea?
Although since he's only going to be a pro-gamer for one more year, he may want to get the Korea-craze out of his system...
EDIT: Post #1337

demuslim has been tearing it up lately, why wouldn't he do as good? hasn't won anything major, but he got #1 on eu and NA and if you watch his stream he has been doing very well

Ladder doesn't really mean anything compared to tournaments, tbh. No-names have been #1 GM too.
Regardless, I hope that they have a chance to go to Korea!

Sen is in Taiwan. And he won't be going anywhere since he just signed with Gama Bears.
