Scroll down to the "Team Sponsor" section.

maybe this will make the koreans in SlayerS get more respect for IdrA instead of doing silly hadoukens on him after a silly win?

Example: Inside the Game E16 - 09/20/11 @ 1h41h10s
Seriously, though. EG has great marketing. Their biggest players have a lot of fans (DeMusliM, HuK, IdrA, and iNcontroL) and they are very involved in the community (EG Master's Cup, Inside the Game, Live on Three, player streaming, State of the Game, etc.).
On top of that, everyone on EG is very consistent about listing off all their sponsors whenever they get a chance, so people who watch any of the aforementioned shows probably have most of EG's sponsors memorized.

now only if i understood korean... EG buys SlayerS or they merge.. google translator
It appears EG and Slayers United will live under the same roof soon. Also they will compete as a single team in the GSTL..

The first of many hints about an announcement of an announcement, probably.

I wrote about this possibility as a post when HuK signed with EG. It makes absolute sense for both sides (EG and Slayers) to collaborate.

Not to mention they have probably some of the best promotions of any Esports org. The only other team that can rival them is maybe Liquid as their website is a hub of community activity. Things like this bring people to their website. I know when I went to their website I then signed up for some kind of contest for free stuff where you answer questions about Idra and the equipment he supposedly uses.

This probably means more SlayerS players going to American tournaments as well and staying over at the EG house. Seems like a win-win situation.
|
Yea you can detest or love EG, but you have got to admit their business acumen is some of the sharpest... I mean most teams are happy with like 2-3, but they got a whole string

karmic justice that this got leaked early.

What does SlayerS get out of this deal?
Also, it sucks if they play as one GSTL team because the SlayerS line up is so deep already we'll rarely see EG play.
Is Naniwa going to be playing for MVP and is Fenix going to be playing for IM next season?

Is Naniwa going to be playing for MVP and is Fenix going to be playing for IM next season? Fenix is part of IM so I would expect to at least be able to play for his team in the upcoming GSTL season.
And I agree, Slayers already has an amazing line-up, so we would probably not see an EG player come up as much as I would like.

Is Naniwa going to be playing for MVP and is Fenix going to be playing for IM next season? IMFenix is already playing for IM.. he's won a few games in gstl i believe also, he's an official IM member i believe not a partnership player.
Naniwa is a partnership player but he's allowed to play gstl just as huk was allowed to play for oGs when he was part of the Liquid-oGs partnership

I think Idra and huk will end up getting some play time. Idra's vT is already awesome and when he practices against the slayers' terrans it's going to be insane.
