I have had 3-4 email exchanges with my card support email. To be honest, they are pretty helpful for a company that doesnt speak english as there first language. All they will say is that the process for converting 'mycard points' into battle net points is under maintenance and they cannot say when it will be fixed. (Note: I got this from them 2 days ago) It appears, that the 150 point trial works, because that converts DIRECTLY into a battlenet point currency , i.e. you can get a 150 point battle net card. But because you (and i) have a 1000 or 2000 point mycard, those dont convert directly. Until mycard fixes the system to convert there points into bnet points, your best option for an 'unlimited' taiwan account (perhaps after trying via the 150 point method as shown in the OP) is to get the 1150 "BNET" Card from offgamers and then just charge the account up that way as other have done successfully. thanks for the info (: But just to clarify - so you reckon that it IS just 'maintanence', and there will eventually be a use for the 1000 points? kinda a lot of money for me at this point ;P, I'd rather be calm knowing i havent wasted it haha. Wouldnt know? It appears from my research on their news site (using google chrome to translate, which is by no means foolproof) that it has been under maintenance for around 1 month?

If you follow the directions on the battle.net website, it will suggest you goto https://www.mycard520.com.tw/mycardstore/store.aspx?gameid=bnet <---THIS SITE RIGHT HERE. Where you enter your Mycard Number and Mycard Password. Which in turn, will convert into another my card number that you paste into the battle.net website for purchasing a Taiwanese account RIGHT WHERE IT SAYS "ENTER BATTLE.NET GAME CARD CODE". It's fairly simple.

It's fairly simple. I've only done it twice, (both successfully first time) but each time it was a different process. First time i had to go through mycard.520, second time it gave me a completely different code that skips mycard. It's not hard, but they seem to be good at catching us out by changing things up on the fly

It's fairly simple. And you seem to be incapable of understanding just what people are having trouble with! Everybody knows about the redemption site and the Offgamers >> MyCard >> Battle.net process, it indeed is a "fairly simple" process on paper. The problem is that the site only redeems MyCards in certain denominations (150 points is confirmed by everybody; 300, 450, and 1150 is possible but not confirmed). That means the people who bought any other values such as 1000 or 2000 are currently stuck because the site does not give the option to redeem those values into Battle.net points. Some users say that the MyCard customer service has told them that the ability to convert 1000/2000/etc. points is under maintenance but nobody knows an ETA. This sucks a lot, because there are lots of users here sitting here with like $37 (1k) or even $73 (2k) worth of MyCard points which cannot be redeemed! Moreover, your directions are now completely deprecated, because the best solution for somebody who who has not bought anything yet is to actually just buy a 1150 Battle.net card (which goes in and out of stock a couple of times a day), and skip the MyCard bullshit altogether. But until somebody here on TL figures out a way to convert the 1k or 2k MyCard points into usable Battle.net points and relieve everybody of their misery, this thread will continue to be a place where people share information!

So if its incapable of converting values of 1000 than how would you suggest I have my account? Hmm...Maybe because it CONVERTED THE VALUE OF 1000 AND 150. Instead of speaking for the whole community speak for yourself. It worked perfectly fine for me. Maybe you aren't following fucking directions properly. And what the fuck is MyCard customer service? MyCard is a method of payment not a fucking Tech Support Syndicate. It is also as simple as buying a World of Warcraft Game Time Card, and converting it into Battle.Net currency which it suggest on the website. Which IN TURN could be used to purchase the game. Take your own advice and speak ONLY for YOURSELF. Got it?

So you went to https://www.mycard520.com.tw/mycardstore/store.aspx?gameid=bnet site and redeemed a 150 point MyCard and it worked. And you're saying you went back to the same URL a second time with a 1000 point MyCard and it worked the exact same way? In other words, when you entered in your 1000 point MyCard on the site, you actually saw "戰網卡" (Battle.net card) as an option on the drop down menu? Because nobody else who's tried redeeming a 1000 point or 2000 point card in the last 3 days has seen that option. Is there something else you're doing that nobody is? I don't mean to be snarky, but trust me, there are like 6 or 7 guys in this thread and others all having the same problem and nobody would be posting here if we could see the "戰網卡" option on the drop down menu while trying to redeem our 1k/2k cards. Also, MyCard customer service is the email webform accessed by the "Customer Service" link on the top-right of their website, and people are quoting the replies they've been getting from them. MyCard is a company, they have Customer Service. People have been talking to their customer service. Are you really that surprised? I dearly hope that you've actually found a way to make the 1000 point redemption work, because you'd pretty much be our savior if we could figure out how to replicate your success.

I'm sorry that you jumped the gun with Mommy's credit card and don't know how to follow directions properly. I understand you're upset that your mom spent money and you had your hopes up that you would be playing with the almighty Koreans, and now you have to explain to her that you need more money. Websites are universal. They don't pick and choose who they are going to allow to pass.
