I have searched around and can't find anyone posting about it. I cant trade GuineaPig. I am not saying that I am going to if i can, but I want to understand why. He is not my captain, and it lists all the players with less value then him when I click the drop down list, but all players are gray'd out and I can not click any of them. All my other players can be traded fine besides my captain of course.
Thank you for any answers or ideas to why this may be happening
EDIT: Oh and I do have one more trade available for the week for my main team, and my first trade was for a different team

does trickster count in TSL roster or not :O? technically he should not since hes not in the team. The point rules are that you get a point if you win and you are in the roster but does that mean only bench players, or anyone in clan?

Does these trades make sense?
Trading Squirtle who isn't gonna play for a few weeks, for Killer. Squirtle did awesomely well, so I'm really ambivalent about this. Trading TheBest for Moonan, because FXO will get a lot of play the coming weeks. Getting rid of Clide for a United player since they won't play for ages.

i say dont risk, cause u cant reverse that transaction. Only trade when you think they are going to play bad.
I am still not sure if i want to trade Maka for TSL Trickster in antiteam.....urgh. I think its worth it since trickster left and he can only get team win points, so max of 1 a week

if you are trading before they release the starters for this week then you probably are not a competitive player... why wouldn't you wait for every single bit of information before making a decision?

Rocking out with a solid TWO POINTS.
Damn I'm so good.
My anti-team is owning me. My roster got me 10, but my anti-team is -8. WHAT DO??? Fantasy GSTL so hard.

Well that's certainly a good point. Gonna make tons of revisions before the deadline anyway.

Even dropping DRG for Losira I'm on the first page, haha.
Edit: Derp, didn't see R1CH's response on the previous page, nevermind.

Kicking myself because I didn't realize Choya is the fOu coach and probably won't be making an appearance. Had to cop a -1 trade tax to trade him off for Cezanne. =(

I thought the same thing about boxer. Though technically Cella is the coach.

Correct, those users are just lucky. We don't see an effective way to force everyone who has them on anti to trade them away, seeing as how a lot of anti-team strategy is based on point values (ie if you knew you couldn't put Trickster @ 6 pts on your anti, your entire anti would be different). Thus, we're just going to let those users keep FD/Tester on anti, lucky them. This is why anti-teams should should score you extra points if they lose, have no effect if they make no appearance and give negative points when they win. From what I've seen in the BW forums this is how some of them were done. I'm curious why it isn't so for the GSTL.
Maybe you can change the FGSTL rules so they'd implement this in the future.

The decision to send out Boxer boogles my mind.
Slayers has 4 Terrans that are better than Boxer: MMA, Ryung, Ganzi, and Taeja. Yet, they send out Boxer to face the arguably 2nd best player on team MVP.
I don't know, maybe this was their strategy to snipe GuineaPig. You can't prepare a race-specific strategy against him because he's random, so maybe they had Boxer practice cheese on 1-2 different maps, and aimed to snipe the Pig by cheesing him out, no matter his race.
Sure it worked in the end, but it really fuked up my team. I spent 6 fuking points on Ryung, and he didn't even play. And, Slayers could not stop the Dong, letting him get a 3-kill and win it for MVP. If you look at standings, everybody in the top 20 had The Dong as one of their guys.
Question for all you experienced Fantasy Leaguers:
Is the -1 point trade tax for each individual player traded, or is it -1 point per week if you trade anybody?
In addition, will next weeks' starting players be announced before the trade deadline is up?
EDIT:
I am also currently experiencing the issue somebody had earlier where they could not trade GuineaPig. Is this a bug, or is there a reason behind this?

It probably won't let you trade him cause he's the only random on your team. I bet it's a bug that will be fixed.

Is swapping supernova for check a good idea? I think droping the 3rd best Terran on a team for the best zerg on another will net me some extra points in the long run.
IDK oppinions?
my current team in case you care + Show Spoiler +
PS I kind of want to get rid of junwi to I was really stupid at dropping younghwa and my rando 1 pointer for violet and junwi 30 secs before it closed.

My personal opinion? Don't. Check hasn't shown very good results and is a mediocre player in my opinion. Its like he's in games where he's ahead but then starts to give up and make bad decisions in the mid-late game. But its up to you really.

I also have supernova, but he's
1. cheap 2. underrated imo 3. still plays often 4. better than check as a player overall 5. he's part of oGs so you get points if a strong team like oGs ends up winning anyway
