Gah. I have Taeja, Soccer and NaNiwa on my team.
I wish I could trade all of them .
Oh well. Gonna move NaNiwa and Taeja
NaNiwa --> TheStC Taeja --> BboongBboong
Really don't want to do the Taeja trade. I really don't think BboongBboong will all-kill. And I think there's a damn good chance he outright loses to ThorZain. But I gotta follow the trend and do it to maintain pace
|
Hm yeah. Not sure who to trade Taeja for. I wish his value was just like .08~ higher and I could get StC.
It looks like BboongBboong is the popular choice? I just have a feeling Thorzain has a decent chance at beating him. I guess the other big option is Jjakji, maybe BBoong is the safer option since he could probably get a few wins if he gets past Thorzain.

I like that I've got everyone in here convinced that Jjakji is amazing.

If he takes down MC we'll all be kicking ourselves
Edit: Although I had to trade him for Bboong as well so can't complain there! :D

Instead of trading taeja for bboongbboong I traded FXOKorea for Prime
No team trade tax +8 and taeja +3 == net 13 versus 10 - 1 trade - 3 taeja points == net 6
=D. For once I didn't give away the secret sauce and it looks like this'll put me back up at #1 =D If jjakji/sage do well tonight then I pretty much win the fantasy league. :D

Not sure I follow your math. Outcomes are you either trade a) FXOKorea --> Prime or b) Taeja ---> BboongBboong. You get the following points in each case:
a) +8 (for prime) +3 (taeja) = 11 b) +10-1 (for bboongbboong-1 tax) + points that FXOKorea gets next week = 9 + FXK points
Honestly it's almost the same trade. Might gain a point out of it.

Son of a BITCH. I sat in front of the computer with the trade window open for 10 minutes yesterday debating on whether or not I should pick up BBoongBBong.
I chose not to
-_-

So last week, I had Taeja but switched Nani for DRG on my anti-team ( ggahghaghh). NEVER put DRG on your anti-team. I went from 22nd place overrall to like 172nd or something, even though I had the Taeja all-kill.
This week I get the BboongBboong all-kill. Hopefully that puts me back up a little ways.

Yeah you don't subtract possible points from Taeja, they're already included in the other side of the equation.
Great pick up on Prime though!

Looks like you'll need GuMiho + Ace + Heart to do better than Jjakji + Sage + Smart will for me, by a margin or whatever our point difference will be, which is probably like 5-6 points?
Very possible. GuMiho and ace could both score a win or two, might even face each other. Jjakji / Sage might not win anything tonight. Smart is a lot more likely to take down some of the starting players of team MVP than Heart will even see play though. We will have to see

i can still trade week 10 though... ace and heart will still have value (probably similar to starters value

Is huk going to be removed from oGs? Or am I going to get anti-points for oGs winning?

Mattchew has a good chance of catching up to you if a strong player starts for oGs next week (TheStC? someone like him) and Mattchew can trade for that player.
Personally I think it'll all depend on who starts next week to determine whether he can catch up to you.

Yeah but Smart is worth 3.5, so I can still make a trade too if the starters calls for it.
Ace and GuMiho are actually probably 2 of the best choices to have for week 10. Not sure the trade tax is worth the risk unless the starting pairs are really good good. Sure they play against each other but both will get chance to take 1-2 kills in that series.
I don't need both Sage and Jjakji to have "killer" weeks. If one of them get 2-3 kills or maybe 1 kill a piece and NSHoseo wins that'll give me plenty of buffer to make it really hard to catch up on week 10. Almost everyone in top 10 will only have like 2-3 players left that plays in week 10 so it'll be hard to make a huge number of points then.

honestly, u traded for puma on antiteam when u found out he went to EG during that small window you were allowed to, nothing rly to brag about becus u probly wulda picked fenix like i did and net -5 and possibly more to come
also, your picks - aside from your sage trade in week 1 and jjajki in week 2 - werent all that amazing, you just went for A LOT of starters and DRG and pretty much bidded against foreigners with starters
so pretty much your early intuition of nshoseo dominating in first 2 weeks won you the fantasy league if you win.. and of course DRG

Well now lets give credit where credit is due. He has been fairly accurate with his predictions all year. It's not like he lucked his way into a win.
And mrbamboo, yea odds are you've won. Just saying Mattchew is still very much in the running
And I could have been If I wasn't so stupid (didn't grab DRG ). I think I'm going to be the highest team without DRG when this fantasy season is done lol. I still have a ton of players for next week: aLive, Byun, Noblesse, soccer, July, TheStC and oGs.

Why would I pick fenix when I could've just not made the anti trade and stayed with Maka instead. Oh look at that, I would've have lost less points if I stayed with Maka due to paying the trade tax. I guess trading PuMa onto anti actually hurt me not help me. Maka had a incredibly tiny chance of seeing play with MKP + Polt as the better terrans on his team so it wasn't even that great of a decision. I made a impulse trade when I saw the PuMa going to EG announcement and it didn't even pay off. Also F.United still hasn't played any matches at that point while prime had what, 2-3 games left? It's not even worth the risk of F.United winning 2 out of 5 games + trade tax to break even, even if prime won all the rest of their matches. That's a trade I would've never ever done but thanks for telling me what I would've done.
What's wrong with trading for starters, if it cost 1 trade tax and if you are quite certain that one of the starter will beat the other one, that's a guaranteed point gain with possibly more if he win's a 2nd match. If anything this GSTL has proven that coaches can be quite unpredictable so the starter information is one of the few sure things you can use to help you make the best trades.
What's wrong with bidding against foreign players? I don't play fantasy to support my favorate players, I make my trades according to who I think will win. Nearly every single person in top 50 has traded for teams or starters against FXO and F.United. Are you only impressed by people that picked qxc to all kill IM then? That wasn't luck at all right, that's an example of unbeatable fantasy trading skillz. Picking the player that is definitely gonna see play and definitely better than his opponent and when they win? All luck.
I have been posting analysis decisions I want to make and recommend alternative trade options every single week since the beginning of this fantasy league, I've also been ranked top 25 since week one, jump to top 5 at week 3, held rank 1 for two weeks and then stayed at rank 2 for two more weeks. If anything I've been the most consistent player in the entire league in terms of rank stability.
Sounds like someone's bitter, but that's okay, I should feel ashamed of myself because I actually tried to win.

maze can beat me if bomber pulls another all kill. Mattchew is a close contender as well. Although if Sage and Jjakji get 3 kills together and wins for NS Hoseo tonight I might pull too far ahead. If not, then it just depends on if the top 3-5 people behind me can get enough points on week 10.
