And when I do win/lose I do receive the correct points even if they are in a lower league. (eg. -4 for loss +36 for win). So the ladder system is definitely broken.  | ||

It started around the last friday, May 13th, so if you have this problem "for weeks" it's not the same problem. But the promotions/demotions are locked, I don't have a doubt about it. | ||

OT: I've been playing beating plats and golds, and I'm a gold. I think my MMR is very close to the boundary between the two, and when I get a little bit better I'll be in platinum. I feel the leagues are stagnating though, but I think that the sense of tension now will turn into a great relief and sense of accomplishment when the promotions roll out. Just my 2 cents. | ||

I don't think EricL, the blue poster in that thread, is directly addressing the league lock. He quoted the "not yet ranked" portion and reiterated that that would be addressed in a client patch. He didn't mention anything about the leagues themselves. This is basically something I wouldn't expect an official answer on, at least until it becomes an overwhelming problem (which it seems it's heading in that direction). | ||

Ex: I've been #1 Diamond in my random 4's division for about a week now and I have a good winning % against masters. I know no one cares about team games, but it's a nice way to get your mind off of the 1v1's sometimes. | ||
