However, I don't have a lot of spare time, so I actually go to the live report thread first and look at the recommendation section. I only watch the recommended games and the games played by the very few SC2 players that I care about. One problem with GOM vod is that the HQ version load really slow, and I need to buffer it before being able to watch the match. I can view youtube 1080p without any lag in lightning speed. I pay my 15 dollars because the price is reasonable and I'd like to think I am supporting e-sport in some sort of way, however minor or insignificant.

But I'm getting my 2nd one, mainly because of VODs (and it works perfect in NA).

I may start purchasing the tickets if I'm still interested sometime next year.

I wont buy another - didnt have a lagfree HQ stream at all in S2 like a lot of other Europeans. I will reconsider midseason if I hear from other people that GomTV fixed the connection issues. Then I'll probably buy one. But until then I'm stuck with the SQ stream anyway and dont really have a reason to pay.

I'd much rather download free replays than watch a game being casted, most of which is just talk before the game. I also think it should be free, only with a lot of advertisements, cause im not paying for that shit. Actually it'll be something like 3months/season once the GSL actually starts next year, so 60 bucks a year is totally worth it IMO. Most people spend easily more than that in a month on eating out, movies, etc.

Though I don't have the spare funds to pay, I would only consider paying for the service for the high quality vods rather than to support the 'high level' talent that is casting the games (tasteless that is, artosis is cool). Once I have some spare cash, I might invest in S3.
