Out of my 10+ vent friends who all have blizzard accounts TWO people got it, and here's the actual specs no bullshit of his laptop # Operating system:Windows 2.6.1.7600 () # CPU type:Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5200 @ 1.60GHz # CPU Speed (GHz):1.62 # System memory (GB):0.998 # Graphics card model:ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 # Graphics card driver:atiumdag.dll # Desktop resolution:1440x900 # Hard disk size (GB)  4.52# Hard disk free space (GB):5.456 Fuck that shit, he can't even run it Edit: SERIOUSLY WTF. Why would you give someone with those specs beta. My other friend who has it can barely run it too. On the other hand everyone else has systems ranging from mid to high-enthusiast and no dice. | ||

The "hardcore RTS player" has probably already seen how the new mechanics of the game work. Blizzard needs data on whether people consider them fun, interesting, and intuitive. And for someone who already knows about them and has already formed an opinion before they even started playing, that data's not that helpful. Are the inexperienced people worthless for tuning balance? Yes. But that doesn't mean they're worthless for the beta process as a whole. | ||

Every WoW player that ragequits is another spot that opens up in the next wave.
