People buy way too much into media bias. Football isn't played only for 13 year old boys jerking off to what senile has-been pundits think football should be played like. Chelsea went from a so-so team fighting for 3rd place to winners overnight all because Mourinho knows how to build actual teams that play the football that should be played.
or chelsea got a free win because city have declined terribly (kompany regressing hugely and every centre back is worse, yaya dropping off a cliff, aguero missing time due to injury and being well below par after being rushed back, and terrible terrible transfers), united couldn't rebuild fast enough, arsenal been ravaged by injuries and lolpool lost their only good player

Surely, you must mean something like "Chelsea will have had the most dominant season in Premier League history." If you seriously think Chelsea are the most dominant side ever in England you are helplessly ignorant.

Disregarding Chelsea's win is as stupid as disregarding the 12-13 season when Man United did their thing and walked home one of the worst seasons of the Prem we've ever seen. Staying solid over an entire season is an accomplishment and you earn title wins. Had Chelsea lost some matches during their slump, it'd be a very close title race right now, but they've only lost 2 matches. That few losses (if they don't lose from here to the end) is the least since 2004-05 when + Show Spoiler [Guess who] +

btw. 15 games undefeated against top 5 sides since Jose came back. Chelsea have had the most shots on goal this season on avarage, in both games against Chelsea this season Arsenal had one shot on goal. The goal difference since Mou came back is 8-0 against Arsenal.

We were drowning in beauty at the start of the season because our whole team was fit and we could play what we wanted.
Unlike Two-horse-liga or Buyern-wins-lol where Real can field a squad of under-14s and win 4-0 against 60% of the league, teams like ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea have to field full strength squads and play Champions League level matches 2 times a week. And it shows. Its impossible to play at that level throughout the season and we saw just how sharply the top clubs in England declined, except for Arsenal who were dicking around in the first half and ManU not playing CL.
edit: At the end of this season Chelsea will become the most dominant team in the history of domestic leagues in England. Top of the table since day one, being so dominant is boring.

Chelsea are on course to become the most dominant team in Premier League history by clinching this season’s title. Jose Mourinho’s side have spent the entire season either top or joint top of the table and can set a new record for the number of days spent at the summit. Chelsea have officially been in first place since Aug 30, meaning they can set a new record of going 274 days at the top of the table if they stay there until the end of the season.
Arsenal’s team that went an entire season unbeaten were top of the table for 216 days, while this season’s Chelsea side, who have lost twice in the Premier League, have led the way for 230 days.
The problem is that most neutrals don't watch Chelsea - Leicester, they tune in to watch Chelsea - Arsenal, Chelsea - Manchester United or Chelsea - PSG.
Nobody cares that you can win 6-0 against Burnley or whatever (and show good football). Those statistics you post are inflated by good results against small teams. Fact is that every time Chelsea plays a match against a quality side, they make the game extremely boring for neutral watchers, and those are the games that the neutral gets to see.
Matches against quality sides matter, those against your Leicesters or Burnley's don't when it comes to image. To be honest, and I'm no fan of either club, but the 2-2 of PSG's 10 men for an hour against Chelsea parking the bus against said 10 men was the most satisfying result of the season for me.
Mourinho absolutely destroyed/killed El Clasiço for 2 years straight. I don't think anyone can argue with that. Mourinho left Madrid and Pepe hardly ever gets a yellow card anymore and no-one is talking about him being a dirty player anymore.
Mou is a good manager but he plays disgusting football. How some people can twist their football goggles so much to say that he's not boring or that they are proud that their team plays the way they do, just baffles me.

not disputing that chelsea have been incredibly dominant and are clearly the best team in the league, just pointing out that their competition has been a joke

This is the only argument i can agree with, i get it if people only watch Chelsea in big games which makes sense then they will see the play 2 win football and not the free flowing stuff we are capable of and i get that. But when people then start basing claims off of it, it hurts

Not many people boast his record of losing just ONE competitve match vs a top 4 side in England/Spain/Portugal/Italy though. Mourinho does, that is impressive. That one game was to Barcelona when they were the best in the world by a long way xD
But of course, i stand by what you said at the start.

Because for fans the 24~30 fun matches outweigh the 4~5 boring matches. I've followed Chelsea all season and they played excellent football, I just don't watch the top matches because I know what they bring.
Personally I feel entertaining football is great but without wins it just gives you nothing as a fan. Doing both is remarkably difficult and I feel it is often easy for fans of teams capable of doing both to criticize those below them in their views. Not everyone has Messi in their team or a bench capable winning the league. I'm a feyenoord fan myself so I can appreciate Chelsea this year, because winning isnt easy. People overestimate Chelsea, the quality of the squad has decreased dramatically from the first mou era and playing full blown attacking football is going to expose a side with very little squad rotation.
Pepe is surprisingly a very clean player now. He is still a awesome defender and he doesn't begin fights or loose his head anymore. It is a different Pepe since Mourinho left.
Mourinho was able to turn Xabi Alonso in one of the dirtiest players I have seen.

And you love watching Greece now with the same manager in charge? TT
