Team plays better without him. :/ To be fair, poor Ronaldo had to play with 10 rocks by his side, i remember a lot of times he gave a pass so their teammates could actually make a cross, shoot or whatever, yet they only end up passing it back like saying "save us please" lol I was very funny actually

The two Manchester clubs will spend 200million each over the summer and become relevant again. Arselel will be back to celebrating 4th place finishes in no time. Edit: You can quote me in a year I think ill hold you to that. City cant spend that kind of money and tbh I cant see a quick money fix to Uniteds problems. Not now anyway.

Every time anyone that is not Ronald has the ball, the first thing that they have to do is pass the ball to Ronaldo, not because they want to or because it is the best solution (usually IT IS NOT) but because Ronaldo will cry and scream a lot and the previous manager would bench the other player for upseting the cry baby. Yes I am exagerating a bit, but that is the general idea of it, not that the others are so bad or so scared that they run to Ronaldo to save them.

November 2011: Russian oil billionaire Maxim Demin becomes co-owner of Bournmouth with then-chairman Eddie Mitchell after purchasing 50 per cent share in the club. Demin assumes full control in September 2013 after Mitchell steps down Dat Russian oil money hehe. Bournmouth in the PL sounds like something from a Football Manager game. They need to start building a new stadium as soon as possible ![]()

Sure, it'll get you results. No arguing against that. Personally, in any sport, I prefer seeing goals / tries. But I guess the point is not to be entertained? For me, it is much like the traditional Chinese dota playstyle (TI2-era). Give yourself the highest chance at winning.. and bore everyone else off their faces. We didn't sit back in every game this is what i don't get lol. Do Real sit back when they play Barca? Did Real sit back and beat Bayern 4-1 yes. Chelsea only sit back in games vs top 4, in which we are undefeated in this season. If we played like the way everyone "assumes" in every game he would not be in charge of us. Roman said he wanted more expansive football and the fans kind of wanted it too. We got it, we started off the season playing fabulous stuff, took a blip in form and then hit the business end. We have scored 2nd most goals in the league, have the best player in the league and have the guy with most assists in the league. Last few games in a championship season aren't 4-3 wins or 6-0s they are always going to be sprinkled with nerves because you don't want to throw it away. Also what do you expect from a team that has 1 fit striker who is 37 years old and he was even injured vs Arsenal. Doesn't help the situation to play "attacking free flowing football" ![]() We also had a fair % of the possession of the ball vs Arsenal and arguably the best chance of that game too.

Which is fine. But its not tactical genius or anything. Sure his teams are well coached. Full marks for execution but you have to admit when you kill all of the flair in guys like Oscar and Willian and turn them into jobbers its a bit sad for the neutral.

Hmm kill the flair players is a bit much, make them work is right. Did Jupp kill Robben and Ribery at Bayern when he made them chase back? When they dismantled Barcelona without the ball and with Robben and Ribery tracking back like they were full backs i dont remember them getting the abuse we get. Yes i know Chelsea are defensive at times i like it, some people don't that is more than fine, but i think labeling us boring is a step to far. I can go back to the first 200 pages of this thread and find many people saying how great Chelsea looking and playing so well. I get when we "park the bus" to grind a result out it isn't the nicest thing to watch for the neutral but they dont do it every game lol.

Im sorry are you seriously comparing the work Robben and Ribery did to what Mou makes his wingers do ? Are you really serious. Alright that one games worth of anecdotal evidence aside. How often do you see Oscar and Willian involved in goals let alone scoring and how often is it for the other 2. I rest my case. Lets put top teams aside and just talk general. Hes killed their flair. The ones who want to keep it get shipped out. Only Hazard has been afforded that luxury and hes got probably the leagues best 1v1 defender behind him on the wing.

Mata (who I'm assuming you mean when you say shipped off) was sold because he wouldn't put in the defensive work that Mourinho demands. Oscar was willing and stayed. It's not "killing [anyone's] flair", it's playing to win the way Mourinho is specialised in, and asking players to put in additional work. I'm saddened that it's something he's so heavily criticised for, when it's something I've wanted Arsene to employ for big matches for the last, what, eight years. Just heard that Ödegaard might debut for Real Madrid against Almeria, which is absolutely mental.

![]() btw. 15 games undefeated against top 5 sides since Jose came back. Chelsea have had the most shots on goal this season on avarage, in both games against Chelsea this season Arsenal had one shot on goal. The goal difference since Mou came back is 8-0 against Arsenal. People buy way too much into media bias. Football isn't played only for 13 year old boys jerking off to what senile has-been pundits think football should be played like. Chelsea went from a so-so team fighting for 3rd place to winners overnight all because Mourinho knows how to build actual teams that play the football that should be played. We were drowning in beauty at the start of the season because our whole team was fit and we could play what we wanted. Unlike Two-horse-liga or Buyern-wins-lol where Real can field a squad of under-14s and win 4-0 against 60% of the league, teams like ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea have to field full strength squads and play Champions League level matches 2 times a week. And it shows. Its impossible to play at that level throughout the season and we saw just how sharply the top clubs in England declined, except for Arsenal who were dicking around in the first half and ManU not playing CL. edit: At the end of this season Chelsea will become the most dominant team in the history of domestic leagues in England. Top of the table since day one, being so dominant is boring.
