Is it not?
It's a loan with a guarantee to buy i think. Like the Negredo to Valencia transfer, a loan with guarantee buy of £24million at this time next year.
Alot of these deals happened due to FFP rules, its an easy way to get round the issue, ask for a loan, pay some of his wages, buy him next season.

I'm not sure about that. They'll quickly realize that they can't play with Modric + Kroos + James/Isco so they'll put Khedira in the starting line up. And they will have to play James instead of Benzema (or at least be Benzema's sub) because he cost a ton of money...

I'm curious about the whole Khedira situation. He was heavily linked with a move to Bayern or Arsenal but remained in Real. Did he change his mind, or Ancelotti changed his mind about using 8 offensive midfielders in his squad? Tbh I think he might've been a better player for United instead of Di Maria, not to mention he'd cost far less.

Before Chicharito RM only had 17 field players (plus 3 keepers). Could be their shortest roster ever. That might be why they kept Khedira.

I surely didnt expect this, but according to wikipedia, RM really has just (?) 19 field players. I thought their squad would be bigger. So Khedira will most likely see some action, and if there are 1-2 longterm injuries, he might even be back as a starter.

Arguably he is older i agree but still. I guess it isn't majorly over priced but still is big money for him imo.
It's not as inflated as you suggest. His goal scoring record is "poor" because he's usually played as a winger. He's still young (only 23, still has his best years ahead of him), and he's being sold to a rival on deadline day, a rival who needs strikers and everyone knows they need strikers. Plus he's a full England international.
Also people need to give Sanogo some time. He's only 21 and barely made any first team appearances

I think Khedira is going to play quite often this season. Xabi Alonso and Di Maria were better defending that James and Isco and as you could see in Anoeta where they received 4 goals. Khedira is the only player that can fix (or help at least) this problems.

Balotelli is really overrated anyway. And you buy his antics along with whatever he can bring on the pitch.

Lately, almost every player seems overrated to me. Then again, if all players are overrated, they aren't overrated anymore.

You lot need to get the fuck away from three at the back if you want to get anywhere near the top 4 again. It just isn't working in the PL unless you have Duracell wing-backs and a solid three. Di Maria and Januzaj as wingers would be hilariously bad defensively.
My proposal is 4-1-2-1-2, though I'm biased since it's my favourite formation ever.
De Gea Rafael - Jones - Rojo - Shaw Blind/Carrick Herrera - Di Maria Mata/Januzaj Rooney - Falcao/RVP
Then again, it's very hard to put this squad of United to look anyway halfway strong defensively. You lot are the Liverpool of last year.

Don't think the formation is that important. LVG's principles would be the same in any formation, changing it wouldn't drastically change the system. Besides, the differences between the current formation and 4-4-2 diamond are extremely minor; slightly deeper backs, slightly more advanced centre back, that is it. I would like to see some kind of 4-3-3 though.
The problem is that many of the players don't know what a triangle is, I'm sure they will do better after LVG has finished teaching basic geometry. Also they had 10 injuries and had to play people like Fetcher, who doesn't seem to know wtf is going on, and Blackett who apparently shot 20 long balls against Burnley alone.

Police bust illegal Premier League streaming HQ with 12 servers broadcasting games
It was http://nutjob.eu/ that got raided.
A moment of silence for this hero who brought us free entertainment at great personal risk.
I find it kind of crappy that as a fan in the USA, I can watch every PL match on TV, but in England, the place where all the games are being played (except Swansea's home fixtures), less than half the matches are televised. Yeah, you can go to the game, but that's expensive and it's not always so simple to get a ticket seeing as how they are in finite supply.
