Yeah such a waste. The midfield is playing really well, hopefully we will score because with this defense you never know.

Remy to Chelsea is now confirmed...sigh T_T

Well, he is French, but not young, so we were never getting him, I guess.

Phil Dowd never disappoints. Yeah that was a clear pen in injury time there, but Phil Dowd is not the reason Liverpool have battered Tottenham 12-0 over the last three games. Naive defending versus one of the leagues most potent and quick attacks is the reason. This was just same procedure as last year. Now go Leicester! Did you read anything else I wrote? I never said it was the reason. The reason Liverpool went from finishing 7th every season to bashing Spurs 12-0 over three matches is very simple: Liverpool have lost £140m in the transfer market over the last four seasons, and Spurs have made a £39m profit over that same period. Liverpool's wage bill is also substantially higher. One club is ambitious and the other has an owner who is determined to build a new stadium so that he can sell in a few years. What you call "naive defending" I call "poor players." Kaboul has been one of the worst defenders in the league for the last two seasons and he's still starting against last year's runners up. Danny Rose is so mentally weak that he had to be substituted last season because he couldn't handle abuse from Stoke fans, and he's still starting against last year's runners up. Bentaleb is 19 and very inexperienced, and he's starting against last year's runners up in central midfield. Pochettino asked for Schneiderlin, and he's going to get a £4m midfielder from Montpellier instead. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Wasnt ment as an attack, sorry if it came of that way. The 140 you speak of is about 40 too much by the way. Allowing players like Sterling that much space is naive, even if its MK Dons playing. I agree Liverpool is a more ambitious club, and it should only be as expected when we beat Tottenham. I still maintain that extremely naive defending is what cost Tottenham though, and its not only the back four Im talking about when I say defending. Tottenham have looked strong in their first two games though, I have no doubt they´ll be ready to pounce if Liverpool or Arsenal slip up. Best of luck. Believe me, I respect the way Liverpool have done things. No one lost faith in Rodgers after the 7th place finish and the owner allowed him to build the squad to his liking. I just think it's time for everyone to accept that this Spurs squad is mediocre. It's easy to call it naive defending, but I don't think these players are capable of anything better. Townsend had 2 lively performances for England and everyone is convinced that he's the second coming of Figo, despite him being useless for the last 10 months. His first touch today led directly to Liverpool's third, and he had no interest in tracking back. Pochettino is an excellent manager but he can't turn water into wine.
Also, my transfer figures are from here.

FFS, Ramsey should have played in Sanogo. Sad face.
Really liking our play now, at least. Combining well.

But then he gets played in and fucks it up

Not nearly enough movement. We need Ox and/or Campbell to start challenging Leicester.
Shit, Vardy is coming on. Heard he's fast as fuck. Will cause trouble for Mert&Chambers.

Sanogo has the decision-making of a drunkard, I swear.
Looked like Özil just did his ankle in. Fuuuuuuck.

Feyenoord should have won that game

Yeah. At least they played a decent game though lol... Improvements. Should have put in 2 or 3 goals though...

Why oh why did podolski come on. I know Sanogo doesn't look like scoring but at least he runs about and gets into the action. Podolski is invisible until he gets a chance on his left foot and none of the other attackers are creating those kind of chances atm.
I'm still waiting for Rosicky to make an appearance this season.

Yeah finally some improvement This season may not be as bad as I initially expected if we can maintain this form. Hopefully we start scoring more goals again like you said.

Sanogo was woeful as usual, and really should have been off earlier. Should have been Campbell coming on and having Sanchez go up as striker, but Wenger's gonna Wenger.
With the side we put up, I'm alright with a draw. We're just putting up a side that can pass the ball and then the token striker. Sigh. Really don't know what the fuck Wenger is up to, but I hope he changes something with the City game upcoming. They'll eat this eleven alive. Özil on the wing? Really? Ramsey needs to find good form really badly, although it is encouraging he manages to score while playing like dog-shit. Chambo and Campbell on for some real wingers would spice the team up and allow us to be lethal on the counter for once.
Leicester are really good. They're staying up for sure.

Kagawa is so good. A shame he did never get his chance with Manu. You will see how well he plays once he is under a coach who actually cares for every singe player and under a team with players who know each other oh so well and played together in similar style for quite some time.
Im glad he is back. Also cant be wrong for the competition if BvB gets a bit stronger considering Bayern Munich is just insane even with 5 world class players injiured. And Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and Schalke are very good, too.
