Well, I mean, the crowd reaction according to commentators and stuff was more reserved than the previous few olympic openers. I mean, it was good, and very pretty but it was more of a quiet contemplation thing, than it was a wow amazing clap clap clap WOOHOO energy thing. If that makes sense. I mean, in Canada we had quiet moments for contemplation and stuff but also some energetic parts to the ceremony as well which i liked, I was just waiting for something more energetic that never really came. But I guess the artistic intention was the evolution of Russia, which always seems so much more stoic in general with more appreciation for the fine arts shown here as well. | ||
