David West and George Hill never will get enough credit for what they mean to this team. Tonight showed a bit of that. David West is just a pleasure to watch, especially off ball. Actually sets useful screens and puts in the effort to push guys off the block.

On a different note, Balke Griffin is really freaking good.

He has a complete game. He's without a doubt, the best free agent signing the Pacers have ever made. The Pacers wouldn't be nearly as good without him. Without David West, the Pacers don't bring in a guy like Andrew Bynum. But they know West will keep him in check. I think the Pacers need to lean on West more. Teams are keying on on PG, he's not shooting nearly as well as he was at the beginning of the season. West will kill you on the offensive end and if you overplay him, he will make the pass to make you pay. The past two seasons when the Pacers have come to town to play the Kings, West has just been a huge factor in those games and its been great to watch in person. Also the Lillard/Aldridge combo is nasty. So frustrating to play against, see your team play solid defense and it just not matter.

That's just so amazing to me. Post-game interview he basically said "I can't say what I really want to say right now, and that's it.".

I'm going to guess that he totally lost track of how much time was left on the clock and made the pass out of instinct. No way he actually thinks to himself that it's a good idea to risk passing it instead of shooting it himself with that little time left. Tobias probably should've laid it up or short armed it also, rather than risk having the ball still in his hand when the buzzer sounded.

Lebron gets quite a few of these. Basically, the reasoning is that by making a big dramatic display, even in running away from the refs, you're attempting to show them up. It was part of this: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5609817 , but they're being stricter with it now. It's stupid, but unfortunately not rare. I think this T is worse.
