Chelsea FC plc today (Tuesday) announced our financial results for the year ended 30 June 2013, which when combined with those from last year will enable the club to satisfy UEFA's break-even criteria within the Financial Fair Play regulations. A group turnover of £255.8 million for the 12-month period is a record figure for the club, despite elimination from the Champions League at the group stage last season. A 19 per cent rise in the club's commercial income from £67m to £79.6m is a clear indication Chelsea FC is moving in the right direction in terms of business growth, Source

It appears that New Year’s Eve will come and go without an MLS expansion announcement from David Beckham, but missing the league’s Dec. 31 “deadline” almost surely won’t have any tangible impact on his push for a Miami stadium deal. Securing land and funding for a new facility in time to meet the original terms of Beckham’s $25 million expansion option was always going to be a tall order for the former midfielder, who retired only seven months ago. Beckham has been working with Bolivian telecommunications mogul Marcelo Claure and continues to make progress with local authorities, sources tell SI.com. Two weeks ago, Miami-Dade County commissioners unanimously authorized mayor Carlos Gimenez to negotiate with Beckham and potential contractors, and by all accounts those talks are going well. There’s confidence at the league level that the details will be worked out. Miami and Atlanta are expected to be the league’s 22nd and 23rd clubs. Falcons owner Arthur Blank, who hopes to field an MLS team in a new retractable-roof stadium scheduled to open in 2017, has been in talks with the league for years. Falcons executive VP and chief marketing officer Jim Smith, formerly the president and GM of the Columbus Crew, attended the MLS Cup final. Also in Kansas City for the league title game was a group that might be interested in bringing MLS to Minneapolis — and it wasn’t the Vikings. While Beckham’s Miami entry appears to be a matter of “when” and not “if”, there’s an intriguing contest taking shape in the Twin Cities, where the construction of a new soccer-ready NFL stadium may have lit a fire under the owners of local NASL club Minnesota United. Somehow I feel the only positions we need less players in is the attacking midfield, kid should be loaned out asap. So Swansea v Man City in 15min... I guess when players earn mountains of cash they can't really complain about not celebrating new years ![]()

WILFRIED BONY! 1-1 bitches! Looked offside, but I'm okay with that considering all the bullshit decisions that went City's way against Arsenal and Liverpool. Great first half. After giving up the early goal Swansea have really controlled the game the last 10-15 minutes.

The Burkina Faso messi i believe ^_^_^_^_^ Man City game is fun, City again showing frailties on the road whilst Swansea actually look like their back to playing some decent football. Swansea goal was indeed offside but it was very close, so can't blame linesman. Also nice weather to play in haha xD

As an Arsenal fan I hope he isn't allowed to speak to the players before the game. I guess they know their next manager is watching and that new manager effect might spur them on.
