That's why they desperately need him to stay. They are in serious trouble without a striker of his magnificent ability. Are you seriously implying that Luis Suarez is bigger than the institution that is Liverpool Football Club? He most certainly is not. He said in january that he would stay even if the club didn't reach CL, and now he skips Stevies charity dinner only to take a train to London to get interviewed about how he wants out. He has had dealings with Arsenal under the table, he has pulled PFA into the situation (only for them to straight out tell him he is wrong, there is in no way a buyout clause). He claims he doesn't owe the club and the supporters anything, I claim he does. In the last two seasons he has had some major bans, and both club and supporters have supported him even though both instances were his faults. As much as this whole situation fucking pains me this saga now only have three possible scenarios: -Sell to Arsenal, very unlikely with John Henry mad about Arsenals tapping up. Maybe if they don't bust out some insane bid. -Sell to Real, likely, he will be much cheaper for them than for Arsenal I reckon. -He apologizes to his teammates and the supporters. The latter option will be hard, he has many bridges to build. Im thinking at least 20 nutmegs and 30 goals is needed if he goes with this option.

Haha, while I enjoy saying provocative things like this just to get a rise, and of course no one person is bigger than possibly the biggest or second biggest name in English football history, RIGHT NOW Liverpool are below the class of Suarez. He dragged them along last season. As a footballer versus a team of other footballers, Suarez is bigger than Liverpool. The club has accumulated what I would refer to as 'small ball' buys. Rodgers is still in his small club mentality. No big marquee signings and nothing impressive. He has gotten rid of two of the better players in Skrtel and Reina. He is downsizing Liverpool, from a football perspective. It's not like pool are becoming the new Leeds but they aren't going upwards as far as I can see, and Suarez leaving would certainly speed that decline more than slow it!!!!

You can make the argument that they don't need those big signings though. Why do they need to make a "marquee" signing when their squad already has many "marquee" players? You don't need a "marquee" striker when you have world-class Suarez, or "marquee" midfielders when you have Coutinho (who was a huge steal for £8.5m) and Gerrard. Defense and the wings were probably their weakest points, but they still have Agger and Skrtel (that loan move was just rumor BS, there hasn't been anything official), and got a proven veteran in King Kolo. They shored up their problems at wing/forward with Aspas and Luis Alberto (and Fabio Borini seems okay when he's not injured).

But I doubt it. Kind of all depends on the effect that Gerrard can have from a leadership perspective and the same goes for Rodgers. Obviously we are talking about Liverpool without Suarez...and I really don't think you can call Countinho marquee yet, he hasn't shown enough. Can he put the team on his back?

Chelsea looked good at the beginning of the second half. Rest of the game RM was just really dominant, especially their fast and frighteningly good executed counter attacks.

Central Florida’s top two mayors have agreed to a deal that could see Orlando City get the final $20 million they need in order to build a soccer-specific stadium, according to a report from the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. The deal was agreed to on Thursday by mayors Buddy Dyer and Teresa Jacobs and is part of a larger package of upgrades for the city of Orlando. Source
