The After Hours Gaming League (AHGL) is the place where competitive gamers with day jobs compete with each other for charity. Last Season, we had almost 1000 participants from Bronze to Masters from 52 different companies.
In Season 4, we're changing the league structure to a version of Swiss to make sure teams of any skill level can enter and have fun, competitive games throughout.* After about 2 months of regular season Swiss play, we’ll start two tournaments with Charity donations as prizes - one for the top teams and one for the rest. So even if you’re an average skill team you have a shot at becoming an AHGL champion.

Wow! Not sure how I missed this last time, but sounds fun. Unfortunately, there's no way I could, even working at a university, get a team together. Also, dota2 needs in on this.

+ Show Spoiler +It is important to spread the word at your company that you are organizing a team for the AHGL so as many employees as possible have a chance to participate. Even if you personally know enough employees to form a team, you will probably be amazed at how many closet StarCraft 2 and League of Legends players will emerge after you make your announcement!
Here is how previous seasons' teams recommend you do it:
-Post in internal corporate newsletters, blogs, forums and email lists.
-Put up posters and signs in-house. (We have included a sample flyer for you to use in the Appendix.)
-Network among other employees to find out who games and ask them to spread the word.
-Post on AHGL threads on StarCraft or League of Legends community sites like teamliquid.net, reddit.com/r/StarCraft, and reddit.com/r/LeagueOfLegends.
Don’t forget to reach out to new employees. Says one team captain:
“Make sure new hires know about your AHGL team; they are often out of the loop on how things work in the company and will just not hear about it, and because they are young they often are among the best players.”

Two part answer:
1. For this season, we're allowing European teams and it's the same league as the NA teams but with some big warnings. The caveats are the time for games each week is pretty inconvenient (Sunday early afternoon PST = late night before a work day in Europe). Also games are on NA servers by default, which is less of a big deal now with cross-region stuff in SC2.
2. We want to expand to Europe very soon and have a separate league, so please contact us either way so we get you on a mailing list!

Company density is the hardest part. Europe is looking promising for next season so at least we would have more time zone options for when your team can make games. I'd love to see enough teams for an AHGL in all regions eventually!

Were any military teams ever able to sign up? I saw something in the Season 3 handbook about the USAF trying to sign up and something like this would totally get me back in to SC2.

Love the AHGL and always watch the SC2 competition and am glad to see it back.
However I do have a question. For future seasons, are there any plans to add other games such as Dota 2 or maybe even Smite or just sticking with two game titles?
