SPG tournaments sound really good! I'm hoping 6PG does a lot to promote itself!
|
they sponsor a lot at least! eg etc.
|
Are there more videos up than there were for the beta test at the moment?
|
I dont understand what's free and what's not free at the site. Do you pay 15$ a month to view a bunch of strategy tutorials? Do you have to actually pay to enter online tournaments?
|
|
??? I dont understand this at all.
What is it? are you paying to view articles??? or blogs?? What exactly is free what is paid for? are these lessons ? I am so confused.

Maybe to track clicks from the TL ad to try and figure out if the traffic is worth the price? I'm sure they would have thought about whether or not to include a direct link to their website.
Best of luck with the site, maybe when HotS comes out I'll check out the subbed stuff if I get back into playing

I browsed through the site, but don't feel there's enough exclusive content that we can't already obtain on the internet. If it picks up then I wouldn't mind paying, but seems a little lackluster up to this point. Maybe random drawing coaching sessions and the such would draw more attraction as a kickstarter. I'm sure the pros wouldn't mind doing an hour a week coaching to their members.

I was browsing the SPG Pros sections and Xeris? Protoss Pro?
|
whats the difference between this and hotkeyit.com they're cheaper have have alot more content/videos ^^
|
This is getting silly.. we dont need new initiatives like this, it's actually just paying a whole lot of money for something anyone can get for free everywhere on the internet. no need for this imo

(i still agree with you, that its prob not gonna work, but who knows and i wish them the best of luck)

I was wondering the same thing, who is that guy? Some NA pro I haven't heard about yet?
|
Darkforce: Zerg Pro, Residence: US
:D
And Xeris as a pro is a bit misleading, I guess.

-_-
Stretching it a tad. I've known Duran for quite some time. [Light] is his baby boy. He's been around the BW for a pretty long time and did well in developing talent. He's known for his managing more than anything else.
He resurrected Light for SC2 after his stint with Fnatic and is also the commish of the NASL and does casting duties sometimes as well.
With that said, he's well-versed in the game and has a good eye for spotting upcoming talent as well, so he might be worth listening to.

I know all of that but I still don't consider him as a Pro, I managed many teams aswell and I don't consider myself a Pro.
