- Your design must contain ONLY one color (plus shirt color) The TT rep had a reply which made it sound like the white in their logo is ok. | ||

But if i draw a DT or a warp prism I'm pretty sure you can use that in your design. Blizzard can't hold copyright to your pencil sketch of a zealot. It also can't hold copyrights to things like shapes. for example the protoss logo. This is why for example think geek can sell this: http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/giftsunder20/e708/ without copyright issues. There are many other examples. The only shop that is actually licensed as far as clothing is jinx i believe | ||

It's a little different with this sketch since there's no abstraction of what the unit actually is. I might be wrong, I don't know how strict blizzard is with their copyright. | ||

It's true Blizzard can't hold copyright to your sketch of a zealot, but they are completely able to prevent you from selling your sketch of a zealot (which is what Ttesports will be doing), that's what copyright is. Also, they can, and do hold copyright to the race logos, since it's their creative property, If I was the first person in the world to draw a circle I could have copyrighted it. Thinkgeek must have rights to sell it, considering they use "Starcraft 2 Protoss Vintage logo" in the title. If they didn't have the rights, blizz would have demanded it be taken down or flat out sued them. | ||

The White in the logo is ok but that doesnt mean the white can be other places on the shirt... Just that they will allow the white from the Thermaltake logo.. I like many of these shirts but they just seem like... Keep in mind they are probably trying to make these with as little cost as possible.. So these super flashy multicoloured shirts are nice and all but they dont seem realistic.. Just designs on a shirt template | ||

A Bunch of ideas on this are stolen.. Just think of it as you inspired someone.. I was inspired by the TtEsports logo on the shoulder.. A bunch of people were inspired by my red lining on the color and sleeves.. I see a bunch of edits with that added | ||

I thought there was a difference in the actual logos and the shapes of the logos. But you're probably right, copyright law is a pain... i assume it since one of the rules is "Your design must contain ONLY one color (plus shirt color)" but a lot of people are using white and it's giving me a hard time figuring if it is allowed or not | ||
