Registered! looks really good thank you!
Registered as well, I hope it plays out well
registered, hopefully it doesnt conflict with WCG or any other event times like the geforce or they allow a reschedule or delay if it does =/ (just kinda sick of all these open tournaments that draw out for weeks/months and make it near impossible to reschedule or delay it another 10 minutes to finish a previous set of a drawn out tournament that takes several months to play out =/)
Hit me up if you would like anything casted in Spanish for those who do not speak English pretty well or at all!
watch em exclude quebec brb reading rules

I have a 367 (same as 377 but cushions instead of fur)
They work quite well and I have had no problems with them. they don't seem to break easily at all as I have given mine some brutal punishment.

I heard you are 19 does anyone disagree.

I'm in Taiwan and I registered with a Canadian address.
Hey guys,
Unfortunately if you have signed up with a birth-date that puts you under the age of 18 or signed up with an out-of-country address we will be scrubbing these entries and removing these participants periodically.
If you input the incorrect country or birth-date in error you can sign yourself up again, but before any prizes are awarded you will be subject to age and location verification.
Also to those of you saying it's "unfair" that players under the age of 18 as well as Canadians are excluded, we hear you. However, please understand the legalities related with running a tournament this large. The intention isn't to exclude or discriminate against anyone.
Plantronics has decided this is the way they prefer their event to be run as to not open themselves up to possible legal issues, and as they attempt to support the StarCraft 2 community and e-sports in general by running events such as these, we're asking people to respectfully understand their position.
plantronics are cool, they gave me a gamecom 777 once and i still use and love it best headset i had so far.
is anyone going to be casting the tournament btw?

I was about to buy them since they were like 20$ but when i looked up reviews they said they break too easily so i didnt buy them.

US only? WTF? Am I reading this right?

I can understand no Quebec as those legal issues are tricky, but all of Canada? It just seems you are trying to hide behind legal issues as the reason, and not just the fact that you want to concentrate the money on the American market. How you spend the money is fine, but don't say it is too hard to run the tournament in Canada, as it has been done in the past in a lot of provinces with ease.
Shame i can't enter
Also,Gamecom 777 have a manufacturing defect that Gamecom won't recognise. Just thought I would share that.
I also got a Plantronics GameCom 777 headset. It's indeed the best headset I ever owned in my live. The only "bad" thing is that I got the old version ( yeah its a bit older), which got 5.1 Dolby Surround. This new ones mentioned here already got 7.1 Dolby Surround!

Not opening a tournament to Quebec is standard, but not opening it to the rest of Canada is just lazy. I've bought two plantronics headsets in the past and been disappointed by both. This just adds to my list of being let down by this company.

Has absolutely nothing to do with something being "hard".
Can't compete, but this is still cool. I have a Plantronics headset fyi, it's great. I always break the crap out of headsets, my Plantronics one has a cord that doesn't die when I roll on it, and some sticky tape fixed the mouthpiece that I think I chewed on or something T_T

did they ever get around to announcing the time these matches will be played? as i hope its not 9 pm est as that would make 4 tournaments at 9 est that i have to juggle with rescheduling >.<
Tournament rules state 8 cst (9 est) so yeah, good luck with that.
And if I read it correctly, they seem to have strict (be on time or forfeit) rules.
Excited for this tournament; should be great.
i am registered for this tournament and cannot find any info about when and how we are going to play our matches. how do we know who we are going to play against and how are we going to contact them and submit our wins and losses?
I'm ready for this tourny :D
Last chance to register!!
This tournament should be tons of fun..can't wait.

I tried to sign up but it said the ticket is unavailable until the 10th at 11:59pm. The site says registration is till the July 10th. Did I do something wrong when I tried to register?

For everyone else that wants to sign up, only about 24 hours left!
rosenb1att It started to work and I can register for the tournament now.

anyone know when brackets will be posted?
My match has been posted so I assume everyone else's are (probably) posted as well.
You do not currently have any matches or challenges.
anyone else in the same boat...
I dont see myself on the brackets either and I registered well before today
If you are from Canada - you were removed from the brackets.

I'm not sure how exactly I'm supposed to contact my opponent. The email said "You will be provided your opponent's contact information and Battle.net Real ID in the My Matches area of the GameCom StarCraft 2 Event Site." When I go to the my matches page all it shows me is my opponents name; no character code, no Real ID; thus there's no way for me to add him on battle.net.
Here's what mine says:
Opponent Contact Information 1. XxOracionxX (Captain) (Private Message) Battle.net Real ID: Apollyon
Not really sure what to do with this as "Appollyon" certainly is not an email address.
Sent him a private message on the plantronics site but no response.

I have this same exact problem with my next match.

Anyone else having problem with website?
I am a year+ user of the Plantronics 777 headset, and couldn't recommend it highly enough except for some comparability issues when trying to use the USB dongle along with my Razer Blackwidow Ultimates audio jacks.
Good to see them supporting SC2!

Anyone know how this is wrapping up? Should be at least at Ro16 now, if not Ro8. Got knocked out recently by Hawk, was curious how he's doing, as he made the Ro16 (and if he didn't knock me out I'd most likely be there T_T).

I'm supposed to be playing Ver right now, but the admins haven't updated the bracket so i can't get his contact information... can someone please fix this.
Open a support ticket, that happened to me to, they got back to me 1-2 days later. They said someone had disputed the previous results and the bracket consequently wasn't updated.
EDIT: This might have been a little late..
