By now, most of the gamers have heard or seen Thermaltake’s latest Tt eSPORTS division that is looking to enable gamers around the world to take their gaming skill to the next level by designing gaming keyboards, gaming mice and gaming headsets with unprecedented precision, efficiency, high fidelity sound quality, and supernatural powers (okay, we made the last part up, but the rest are true).
While our engineers are locked up in a dungeon, working non-stop to fine-tune the latest creations, we are looking for the ONE that wishes to join Tt eSPORTS to make sure fellow gamers and hardcore gaming enthusiasts are aware of the efforts that Tt eSPORTS has put in as well as building brand awareness around the gaming community.

Job Title: Social Media & Community Guru
Job Description:
-Responsible for strategizing and executing social/community marketing initiatives.
-Manage and update Thermaltake and Tt eSPORTS’ social media platforms and communities (Facebook, Twitter, Official Forums, other relevant gaming / PC hardware communities)
-Works closely with internal Marketing team to drive company marketing campaigns
-Be the public voice for Thermaltake and Tt eSPORTS brand in both online and offline platforms
-Manage and execute online/offline events including gaming tournaments and contests
-Research and maintain key communities relevant to Thermaltake and Tt eSPORTS’ key target consumers
Requirements
-Is active in gaming communities such as forums or blogs (big plus)
-Has experience in moderating social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, forums, blogs…etc.)
-Has in-depth understanding of following games: Starcraft series, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, Diablo series, Quake series. (Not necessarily every title)
-Excellent writing & communication skills.
-Full-time and in-house position (both of these requirements can be negotiated based on candidate’s degree of eligibility)
*Thermaltake Technology North America HQ is based in Los Angeles, CA. Company may be able to offer to cover relocation cost.

First thing first, we want to thank all of those that had sent in their resume and have shown great deal of knowledge in eSports scene. What that tells us is that all of you guys are AWESOME! To date, there are a total of 240+ applicants, and we want to take this opportunity to let you guys know that while we may not get back to everyone who applied (due to sheer amount of applicants), we really do appreciate you taking time off gaming to apply for this position.
Each of you further demonstrated that gamers are highly intelligent individuals with keen senses of observational skills and analytical skills within the gaming community. We are very proud of you guys.

Their corporate location is Los Angeles, CA which means it's still March 31st. So, I'm pretty sure it's legitimate

Very interesting post to see, I've stopped by the Tt booth at PAX East and their prominence within the eSports community has really shown in the past year, from being the title sponsor of a TeSL team as well as American teams like Check6 gaming.

Man looks really awesome. I used to live right near the Tt building in LA, its right in City of Industry if I remember correctly. Anyone in Pasadena, Whittier, Hacienda Heights, Diamond Bar etc. should apply if they feel like they fit the criteria

Application submitted. Only thing I have going for me is a passion for the games listed, especially Starcraft 2, and extensive knowledge of them all. And location, I live in Southern California already. =/. Hope it works out, if so this is like, a dream come true and couldn't have come at a better time in my life. Now to try to sleep and ignore this, lol so I am not too devastated when someone more qualified gets the position. hahha... =(.

You could potentially move to California. You can not ask them to cover your relocation fees from Argentina (unless your resume is ridiculously good), but I am sure they would help you with your visa papers if you got the job and offered to cover the relocation fees yourself.
Trust me, california is an AWESOME place to live and that job would be sick.You should definitely give it a go, I have seen you in other forums and I think you are pretty good.

Amazing how this is attractive to people. I applied to a similar job locally several month ago, it was the same social/community marketing position. I got lured in by a relatively very high wage, but after 10 minutes into the interview I wanted to take off and sprint away.

glhf to the rest of you whose jaws dropped when they saw this post come up. Finally got home today, and this was immediately priority 1. Regardless of the end outcome, it's great to see things like this open up, and it's even better to see them posted on community-driven sites such as TL. I'm just happy that the interest is really there for companies to embrace the esports revolution, and opening this up to community members is exactly the way to start building that incredibly important trust/relationship.
