You have no soul. Nerfing season 2 DFG was the single worst decision Riot has ever made.
Of course he doesn't I bet he actually thinks Ludens is not a toxic item lel
That's the AP static shiv right?
Haven't touched the game in over a month. My inspiration was short lived as I remembered I just don't care anymore.
Your motivation went to trash once you realized that Viktor is actually good. There has to be a name for this. Something like hipster underdog syndrome?
I actually suffered from it when I was a little kid playing pokemon over Shoddy Battle. I didn't use any OU pokemon in the OU meta because I thought that pokemon nobody else used were cool.

Viktor is no longer popular though now that it's tanky mid laners, you can totally play him again!
The hipster underdog syndrome is possibly the greatest enemy of tryharding. I recommend a SC:BW or SC2 therapy to cure it. The urge to play shitty but "cool" things will subside once you get trashed by cheese and MnMnM for the 150th time.
At least I'm smart enough to stop playing ranked before it becomes obvious that the only reason I hit diamond was because Sejuani was completely OP and people hadn't realized it yet.
Sejuani was ridiculously strong even before Cinderhulk, and by that point a bunch of people were wondering why her tankiness wasn't hit like Nautilus' (albeit I'm not sure Riot did it on purpose in his case) when it came out, so... You're still gonna decay if you don't play once in awhile though.

I mean, I get kinda what he's saying though. If you're not playing ranked, it's not the "real" game. That's at least where you get the most people trying (in theory). I never want to play a non-draft-normal again and I only do those so I can have parties of 3/4 when friends are on to play.
I like normals for trying out champions that I don't regularly play.
When I want to pick up a new champion I'll play 20ish normals with them before I take it to ranked.
The difference between normals and ranked is usually in the later half of the game, first 10 minutes or so is typically real similar, so normals are fine for learning how to comfortably lane on a new champion.
Ranked, taken to t mean solo queue, is a much more homogeneous experience than normals. "Normals" encompass solo queue, 2-4 stack pubbing, and 5-man, blind and draft pick, with varying amounts of "tryhardness." It's really meaningless to compare "normals" with "ranked" as if they each represented a singular experience.
I play dota more than I do league now, but my highschool friends who I skype with occasionally are super causal and only enjoy playing 3v3s and the "for fun" new mode they put out every month or so. Urf is pretty much the greatest thing ever and I'm not sure why it's not just a perma game mode now.
I think the logic is if it were permanent it would get old, or people would start clamoring for URF balance and it'd be dumb.
I do think they should speed up their rotations of the custom modes, it'd be nice if there was always one going on and they just rotated in the way free week champions rotated. Maybe that is their end goal once they have enough of them that test positively.

Got a 5s team with my friends that keeps me involved. I'd probably still play more but it's a question of time. I can get in a lot more games of Hearthstone or other stuff a night than League, and there's always the chance that my game of LoL ends with me being frustrated and butthurt.
