I hope Day9 does an episode with like Chris Kluwe. I feel like that episode would be awesome. Also played in the Community Cup last year! Walking the Planes is a great series btw On April 05 2015 16:43 Cixah wrote: Eppa still hasn't picked a song to my knowledge. Unless I'm retarded and missed it. Then you get fatigue mage which isn't quite mill but it's still about burning through your opponents deck and killing him with fatigue. The main issue with the mill decks is that face hunter is popular and exists. Yeah any TO THE FACE decks still wreck you, but Gang Up is a really fun card. Since it just adds three cards to your deck it gives you a lot more leeway on Fatigue. Also, I've played games where I had 8 Antique Healbots. This really frustrated a weapon-based face Warrior I played. When you swing back through town you can try it on my account and see if you like it.

It's still super situational, but it amused me to see it that powerful. ![]() What are the differences between Warrior/Druid/Rogue Mill btw? - armour as extra HP, weapons and Brawl to help clear, for Warrior? - sturdy minions, accelerators (and dryad), Tree of Life reset for Druid? - super mill through Gang Up/Shadowstep and efficient cheap early removal to survive until you start milling like mad for Rogue?

It's more fatigue than mill really. Just about having a ton of answers and winning a fatigue battle. Warriors have that in Shield Slam/Execute/Weapons/Brawl/Bouncing Blade etc.

Everybody else you still have to kill them somehow. Druid you can just not die until the game is over.

Mill Druid has access to naturalize, which is especially cheap removal and mill card, and a full board clear at 9 mana (Poison Seeds and Starfall, which is otherwise terrible), with decent removal options, Grove Tenders, and efficient mana usage, and Tree of Life to stabilize at fatigue. Rogue has options to mill (Vanish against a full hand is a Twisting Nether) and very cheap mana costs for much of what they have, as does Mage (via Duplicate/Echo of Medivh+Death Lords/Coldlight, and has strong stall/board clear). Gang up will be decent for rogue.

But Mill Rogue doesn't want to play minions because it wants to Vanish so badly.

You can see it this way: if you survive till the deck is mostly exhausted, a "late" Gang Up on a Coldlight Oracle guarantees 6 more draws (and they'll take 2 of these for you), which at this point become direct face damage. 2 Coldlight when someone's deck is exhausted is minimum 10 damage (+4 per point of fatigue already reached), your swords would have to attack a bunch to reach that efficiency. They also don't benefit from Vanish nor Shadowstep, and don't have impact until the following turn, for double the mana cost. I saw someone put Clockwork Giants in his Mill Rogue deck. Interesting as a potential cheap finisher too.
