Things like this make April 1st worth it to me. Like, there's a lot of dumb bullshit but it's usually pretty easy to tell what is and isn't fake.

The PSP port was also released on iOS. DS version felt so underwhelming when I tried playing it. Hm. Maybe I should try picking it up again some time and see if I feel differently.

I get to go home when this database is backed up. Eta? 12 more hours. I want to die. I knew it was too good to be true.

What does backing up the database entail? Do you just run an operation and let it go at it, or are you doing technical work for the whole twelve hours?
To feel better, I've included some mad libs to help pass the time!
1) __________ is a great ________. Somedays I __________ while __________ __________ and ___________.
2) When I get _________, I always resort to __________. It really helps make me feel ___________.
3) ___________ is such a __________. When no one is ___________, I often ___________ just to make sure that Jeff doesn't see the light of another __________.
4) ___________ sure is __________. Thankfully, ___________ told me that ___________ is ____________ and wants ___________.
5) I like ____________. It brings out the ____________ inside of me. I'll use this to help me score __________ at the _________.

I start a script. I make sure it doesn't error. I let it do its job. When its finished I make sure it did its job correctly. The problem is the db size rather than anything else. And the fact that its being moved off a machine that was built back when I was a freshman in highschool.

you need a list of verb/noun/adjective phrases with the mad lib in spoilers to make this work, pls frudgey

If by DS version you mean FFT A2, they're completely different games. FFT is flawless in comparison. Just played through them all a few months ago

But seriously Moonbear, play the original FFT (or the 2007 port). It is so goddamn glorious...

I'm waiting around in case it breaks. I don't expect it to, but if it does it basically has to start over. I'm idle because I have nothing else to do while this is working. Rather I don't really feel like helping the new guy do his work because I'm a dick and he deserves it after restarting my shit. I can't do this from home either because I can't dameware into my work PC and be vpned where I need to be. Basically I'm going to throw my bouncy ball against the wall and watch twitch in my phone.

FFT A2 made me feel sad though, idk why.
I also want Intelligent Studios to make a new Advance Wars that's not Days of Ruin... But hey new Fire Emblem and it might get talked about in the Nintendo Direct tomorrow!
EDIT: Fire Emblem not Final Fantasy. I'm bad.

Do you read often, Cixah? It looks like you'd have a bunch of time to catch up on books, comics and stuff at work.

I read things that are usually recommended to me. Most recently I finished Ready Player One. Quite an easy read but very entertaining. I love comics, mostly marvel, but my roommate in college is a comic book artist and he's currently working on Rocket Salvage if you actually read them.
