Didn't sleep last night cause wife snoring kept me up,slept on the couch and my neck hurts. Up today 730 ish to go to a sport program with the guy, then off to a different city 50min away so my wife can see her friend who just had a baby. Meeting at a play centre so kids can play. Then back home to make it in time to a kids birthday party, then to my parents later. I don't know if the guy is even going to get to nap today so both he and I are going to be cranky. Yay for my day 'off.' Then up again 630 tomorrow to start my day at work which won't end till after 7pm. Fudhevevufifufisiiwbrhfugidisoeoehrgegv

So it's on them that they didn't realize that it's been expired for so long. One of them apologized, blaming her carelessness due to the painkillers she was on cuz of some tooth nerve infection. Fair enough, shit happens. The other co-worker's first response was "Why didn't you catch it on the 25th when you opened?" lol, funnily enough, she was sick this day, so I had to come into the lab earlier than I normally do, but I still wasn't the one who opened the lab. So i just responded, "uhh, i didn't open that day...". then she responds "well, i'm not the only one who made the mistake, and i don't appreciate being texted on my day off". lmao, what ended up being a simple memo for my coworker to check expiration date before using stuff, turned into a full on bitch fest trying to defend her own ego. lmao. not a single "sorry", or "won't happen again". in her entire response. like wtf? reminds me of wood 5 players complaining about elo hell, except in RL, which is even more embarrassing. Why in the world would you text them on their day off instead of bringing it up when you see them at work lol.

I pretty much told her, "uh, no". so fuck her.

Edit: someone order me a pizza. I'm hungry :3 Dude what happened to those 50 cheese pizzas you had? Aren't you pizza'd out right now? Also I need your guys's input. I was using my laptop last night and it just died all of the sudden. Like I had it plugged in with the charging cable and then my computer just straight up died. It didn't even give me a warning about low battery life or anything similar. I had the laptop for two years. What do you guys think happened? I'm suspicious that it was perhaps the battery that died, because it just seemed that my laptop lost all of its power and I couldn't turn it on again. And on that same note, should I decide to replace my laptop, are there any brands you guys recommend to me?

Could be overheating issues, that tends to be the big one that causes crashes without notification. what's your budget for a laptop, and usage?

If you can go Macbook Pro I'd definitely consider that. As far as your problems go, if you can check if your batter has any energy left (with a multimeter). Other than that, check if your laptop works with the battery out but the charging cable connected.

But I can't even turn on my laptop again, even after several hours. That being said, I think Wei might be on to something about the overheating issues. I probably fried it due to improper use and by having it go all day.

I'm not looking for anything too fancy, just something to do school work on though. Being able to play League on it would be nice though. Well I recently got a sick fucking deal on a used Dell Precision M4600 with a Firepro M5950 for 460 USD on ebay, it has 1920x1080 monitor, runs LoL on max with 100fps average. I'm a pretty big fan of mobileworkstation laptops, as they tend to have a much better build quality, better built in cooling, huge used market due to business cycling out their equipment, etc etc. But, they also tend to be a bit bulkier.

TBF I was in a ranked game, and she literally could have just wait 20 minutes for my other coworker to get into the office.... I'm not gunna drive 10 minutes to the Lab to open the door, when someone was gunna be there in 20 minutes to open the door....

Business laptops in general are pretty good. I currently have a HP Z-book and they're pretty decent, way better than their consumer line.

I just find it ironic that you need to defend yourself when you just complained that they defended them self. I think texting coworkers on their day of is ok but texting complaints is really BM. I would be pissed if coworkers did that to me.
