Alright, sorry to butt in with Warhammer stuff, but I'd like some ideas from the peanut gallery.
This is an Acanthrite. + Show Spoiler + It's a Forgeworld model, so difficult to order and expensive (~60 for 3 plus Shipping and Handling). It's got a nifty model, and more importantly, great rules that I'd like to use on the tabletop more. So, rather than buying them, I thought I might do some conversions.
On a base level, they're pretty similar to Wraiths. + Show Spoiler + Slightly shorter tails, hovering instead of balancing on tails, slightly different arms and weapons. But, at a base level, similar.
A Conversion with Wraiths -> Acanthrites might look something like this first option: + Show Spoiler +
or this second option: + Show Spoiler +
The first one looks a bit too much just like a Wraith on a flying base, while the second one is a bit sparse and looks a bit bare.
Now, I found a separate conversion that looks different, but not terrible. This might be a workable version as well:

It's quite a different outcome, but possibly something that could work.
What do you think would be an interesting conversion to pursue?
