I mean, even if you had like 20 DoTs capable of going up(doubtful), so some will get knocked off, that's still worth reminding your Holy priests to put their SWP up.
I'm sure the dude saw that Onyxia didn't have a bunch of SWP on her and thus called for DoTs, it's not difficult.

well, it's more that it just stopped working for no reason, it was fine before. It did this like 8 months ago and then one day I was trying to fiddle with it again and it magically worked.

The buttrape was real. Need to play more to get a feel for the basic controls. And probably not queue into ranked for some time.

kappa was so mad so I think my mic was set up correctly the whole time. it's just that when in lobby, steam automatically goes to voice detection.

PoS was mad as well, it was hilarious. Basic FPS tips, check corners, burst fire weapons regardless of if it's automatic or not. Listen to ingame sound, footsteps are loud as fuck, use that to your advantage. Also, peek better, don't just stand out in the open, take corners crouched, peek once fast and then if you're still not sure, take it wide and slow.

bullshit. I don't know if my ears are screwed up, but footsteps aren't loud enough. I also think the weapon sounds are way too loud. The rest is pretty good advice though.

Your ears are fucked up. Sincerely, someone who plays alot of csgo
Alot of people have problems hearing stuff though, i can identify shit through sound while spectating people and they just straight up die because deaf.
But theres nothing wrong with sound.

Probably comes from being experienced FPS players, although I was mostly a console player and thus played BFBC2/CoD. Still, if you can hear people in a BF game over all the shit that explodes, you're fine. Then again, I've always sprung for more expensive headsets, Siberia v2s for PC and Tritton/Astro on console. so that played into it as well.
|
I actually favor my cheaper £30 creative headset over my razer chimera atm. mostly because the mic is better (as in, not broken from the moment i received it -_-) but i have no trouble hearing anything.
Its probably because you aren't used to the game sounds / maps or simply having sound too quiet, everything in csgo makes a distinct sound that you can hear from a good distance away and ascertain locations of people. If it isnt listening to music. constant chatter over voip, simply not paying attention etc.
Sound is just as much a mechanic in (competitive) csgo as the bullets that come out of the guns.

I know that's asking a lot, but I think that's how you can do it.
