@Scip: Blood Elf, literally every 14yo boy's first character was a female blood elf in TBC.
My main was a Tauren Shaman though, Resto+Ele/Enh. Fav expansion is toss-up between TBC/Wrath (never played vanilla), fav raids are Ulduar/ICC/Karazhan.

then again my next char was a female night elf warrior and was definitely a lot more pleasant to play and look at the orc male looked kind of cool sometimes but it did look awfully stupid after a while and ne's stayed graceful and shit
Worgen Warrior (90 ilvl500), Human Priest (90 ilvl532), Human Mage (90 ilvl 555), Orc Monk (90 ilvl551), Bloodelf Hunter (90 ilvl 490), and Female Human Rogue (90 ilvl 463).
I played too much wow this expansion.
First character was the human priest. I have over 365 days played on that character. Glad in seasons 3 and 4, and nothing since. I love arena, just too bursty for my liking now.
I actually enjoyed the exp progression in vanilla, the one character I level back then. While it could be tiresome, you got a lot of exp if you committed, and it felt great having trudged through the slow levels. I did blend in a lot of battlegrounds, was awesome. Had a level 15-45 ongoing "duel" with a druid.

Video game male characters always look like walking trees with heads attached. Can't handle have to be cute female instead.

Oh, I really enjoyed the progression. I loved being familiar with a bunch of Horde people I leveled with, had gank wars with, or played battlegrounds against. That was one thing I really didn't like about the cross server BGs/LFG - it increased the convenience, but it really took away from the server community feel.

I liked staring at virtual ass while leveling. I had 3 characters at level cap in Wrath, Fem Blood Elf Warlock, Male Orc Warrior and the Male Tauren Shaman. I played on Bronze Dragonflight first but switched to Saurfang when it released in Wrath.
