The downtimes though. One thing I will never appreciate MLG for is the huuuuuuuuge delays between matches. When they had KOF13 awhile back, up to 30-40 minute waits after literally 2/3 match lasting for 2-3 minutes.

Spent the evening playing tf2 with a friend. Trying to find a server seems impossible. It's either trade/idle or non combative tf2..

I literally got yelled at for killing people in team fortress two. I.. I don't even know. This isn't even talking about the ponys and minecraft maps..

Hats and guns were great for a while, the problem was Valve unleashed the floodgates and it was impossible to keep up on all weapons if you didn't idle. And if you don't have stuff, it's easier to not know what it does, and its this huge negative feedback loop where it's like "I had no idea that weapon even existed... this isn't really fun anymore." It'd be like if Riot released 1000 champions at once- while on paper it sounds awesome, if you only had 80 of them it'd start to suck really quickly. You'd basically feel like a you're pre-level 30 again, but you would have this vague feeling you actually sort of knew how the game operated at one point in time, and now its just gone.

At least that's how I felt. On the other hand if you just started when the game became free, I'm sure it would feel awesome.
