For cheapo value I would look at anything CM Storm, Corsair, or Rosewill/Monoprice OEM. Razer is massively overpriced. Roccat is kind of overpriced. TTe is mid-range but I personally find their designs awful.
Learn to touch type instead of bottoming out on the keys and anything that isn't Blue switches becomes about as loud as rubber domes bottoming out.
Also you can get a switch sampler from most places (looks like WASD and MAX both are sold out and you're left paying $15 to Cooler Master) and use that to test out what switches you enjoy.
I'm using a Quickfire Tk with MX Blues at home for gaming because I don't type much and the noise isn't an issue. At work I have a Rosewill (v3, not Costar OEM) with MX Browns but I sort of wish I had MX Clears instead.
I've heard Reds are ultimate for FPS/RTS gaming but then basically have to bottom out keys all day and make loud noises.

Model M for most satisfying feel and sound (but insanely loud, but a good kind of loud). Also using filco cherry browns, they're pretty nice, but to be honest after using buckling springs, most of the cherry switches feel the same to me, they tend to feel too light for me. I have also use tkl coolermaster quickshot blue switches. They're pretty nice.

Real men use buckling springs, and tell his roommates to go fuck themselves in regards to the noise level.

Aren't mechanical keyboard extraordinarily loud?
Only blue switches are loud, every other switch is pretty quiet so long as you don't bottom out. Also, all switches can be o-ringed to reduce bottoming out and reduce noise level.

Those are only blue switches. You can go for brown, black, or red instead. All of them are much less noise, but feel just as good as blues(it's mostly just preference though). Random google result gives me this video which is surprisingly good.
I had to google so many words lol I know nothing about mechanical keyboards except whenever Navi gets on TS it's all I hear when he types. I'm probably gonna be living with a bunch of other people so I had concerns about noise levels. I'll look into the stuff more though, thanks for the suggestions.

If you're worried about that, the Razer Black Widow has a "Stealth" edition that is quiet but still gives you the tactile response.

Or buy o rings for like 2 bux
Blackwidows aren't crazy expensive compared to competitors.
Blackwidows are pretty damned bad. Don't bother with 'em. They're like most Razer products: flashy, sleek, but fragile and overpriced. The current Keyboard I use is the CMStorm Quickfire TK. You can choose your switches (so you can get quiet ones), it's really portable, and it's really sturdy.

Except for the fact that Razer is using cheaper Kailh switches in the new Blackwidows and then upselling them as "designed" for gaming.
Also the Blackwidow Ultimate rings in at $140 with a $90 feature set. I mean for $140 you could get a Das after tax and shipping.
