Wave, I really, honestly hope that things go well for you. I can't pretend to know what's going on in your life, but you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers until I hear otherwise. I can't imagine how hard it has to be going through a major surgery like this, let alone with a child. If you need anything at all, and it's within my limits, just let me know.
Sincerely bro, I just want you to be well again.

+ Show Spoiler +That's exactly why. You even see him getting absorbed by the power at the end so why does he get out scott free? That also leaves the MASSIVE ending of the system potentially living through him again. Which would once again be stupid. Both "hero" figures living in an action movie where no character improves for the better in terms of emotion or will is completely the worst possible story telling ever.
Add in the level of Philosophical shit that they completely skipped over where you could literally do anything you want forever. So why not become as close to omniscient as possible and figure out a way to best the situation? THE WHOLE STORY ENDING WAS JUST WRITTEN SO POORLY :|

A little advice from (older) mam Wave: Count your blessings, people. When stuff hits, it hits HARD, FAST, and will ruin EVERYTHING.
Sucks man. I've been drinking for like 2 weeks straight as an awful coping mechanism for my brother's escalated medical issues so I can empathize with the sudden and harsh nature of such a diagnosis. The only thing I can say is that at least you'll be alive, so when you get through the worst of this emotional period(and you will get through it) remember to do everything you can to take your own advice, and live the best you can.

Thanks guys for the well wishes (and the jokes lol) In short form it's not just the disease I have to be concerned for---it's now likely I can't graduate for a whole extra year meaning our family is set back financially for a long time with other repercussions as well.
I have doubts here and there as to how I'll cope with the disease on its own it's just that there are so many compounding factors that marks this one of the wrst situations imaginable for us.
Anyway enough ranting, I'll post again post surger with an update to how I'm physically feeling at least Maybe I'll get to start eating or go home soon a after who knows.

Who was the one looking for a gaming laptop? Ghahndhi? MSI is currently running a promotion which means you can get some decent value on a new (if you don't want to get swag refurb)
e.g: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152559
Pros: Will play pretty much any game Cons: You are buying a desktop that happens to be somewhat easier to move (it is basically still a brick)

While I can't say I understand your situation, I can say that I think you have the right attitude about this.
And I don't to trivialize the situation, but at least you still have the things that are the most important to you. You still have your family, and they will help you get through this. And I don't mean this as in hey things could be worse (because I mean they don't sound good) but I just want to give you some perspective.
And for what it's worth, I think you're a pretty cool guy, and I hope you will see this through just fine.
Stay classy Wave. I want to see you stream again someday so I can hear that nice voice of yours.

Eh... there's only "good luck" in English for this? I don't like using that word in these situations, feels it has a connotation "can't do much about it, just hope". Well, good luck anyway Wave, I guess.
Weren't you super close to the end of the year and your graduation? Can't you have a shortened term next time so it doesn't take that long?
