Wave, I really, honestly hope that things go well for you. I can't pretend to know what's going on in your life, but you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers until I hear otherwise. In short form it's not just the disease I have to be concerned for---it's now likely I can't graduate for a whole extra year meaning our family is set back financially for a long time with other repercussions as well.
I have doubts here and there as to how I'll cope with the disease on its own it's just that there are so many compounding factors that marks this one of the wrst situations imaginable for us.

Good to hear from you Wave. While I can't say I understand your situation, I can say that I think you have the right attitude about this.
And I don't to trivialize the situation, but at least you still have the things that are the most important to you. You still have your family, and they will help you get through this. And I don't mean this as in hey things could be worse (because I mean they don't sound good) but I just want to give you some perspective.
And for what it's worth, I think you're a pretty cool guy, and I hope you will see this through just fine.
