I don't know all of the details, but basically he had to something drilled into his mouth, I think specifically to add a foundation to his jaw for when they do some major work on his teeth. What ended up happening later on his way home from the surgery he ended up breaking his jaw from vomiting blood due to what they had to do in there. Then he has to go in again for another surgery on his 21st birthday to try and get his jaw fixed up. Now he can't eat solids or talk for 6 weeks. | ||

I had an adult tooth that would not come down, and even after my baby tooth came out the adult tooth was rotting inside my gum. So they had to give me braces, then cut a hole in my gum, affix a brace to this tooth inside my gum, then attach it to the wire by a chain, so the braces would pull this gnarly black disgusting tooth out of my flesh. Shit was metal as fuck. | ||

I've got some dental sensitivity so I didn't think much of it when some teeth hurt from time to time. Till one day I lost a quarter of a tooth for no reason. This friday all cavities will have been treated. Save for one. The damn broken tooth and the zone around it just don't let anesthetics take effect on them, 3 times I've spent half a hour in the cabinet for nothing while the dentist adds another dose, waits a bit, tries and it quickly hurts like mad. It's getting really annoying (and the anesthetics still keep working (sometimes stronger) for a few hours after, one time half my face up to the eye was stiff for the next 3+ hours. x_x | ||

I've been pretty lucky when it comes to the dentist. Like the worse that happened to me was that I had to get wisdom teeth pulled but even then it was a pretty clean operation and I healed up pretty quickly. Where like everyone else that I've known who have gotten their wisdom teeth pulled end up losing their soul to Satan or something. Or they get infected in the mouth or something, etc. | ||
