The fact that someone is arguing that the Tank Toppers aren't the championship favourites or that SuNo isn't the strongest player is hardly a sign that they're your enemy. | ||

I was replying more specifically to the part where the guy I quoted called the other dude out for not mentioning that I have some titans of SC2 on my team, instead tunnel visioning on my "worst" player despite him winning more maps than some of the other "worst" players in this league | ||

Eh I disagree there. There is a clear distinction between people who are very invested in sc2 and people who take sc2 too seriously. It is still just a game. Just because someone watches every major event doesn't mean they think sc2 is 'serious business' or should always be treated seriously. It's the difference between people who just think that SuNo wasn't necessarily the optimal pick, and people who are affronted that Nathanias would pick someone who isn't among the very best. | ||

Or rather: you make unfounded assumptions. The intention of my initial reply was to point out that the person I responded to made a mistake on whose team reynor is. And the reason why I did not mention any titan on your team is because the previous poster mentioned specifically serral and reynor as the reason why two teams are the favorites to win the playoffs. Furthermore, mentioning SuNo was a light-hearted joke rather than than calling you out on your choice of players. Lastly, I believe it is a fairly objective assessment to state that SuNo reduces your chances to win the playoffs by a great amount. He appears to be almost a guarantee that your team will always lose at least one map, which in turn means that 2 out of your other 3 players will always have to deliver to even force an ace match. And while he did manage to get a win in the season unlike some other players, his sole win was against one of the two worst performing players in the league, he has less wins than 32 out of the other 35 players, and he has no recent results that would suggest him having much of a shot to score another win. SuNo delivered a couple of very entertaining games - most notably the mass BC win against neeb - and I enjoy watching him, but all of the publically available information on his recent performance points towards him significantly reducing your team's odds of winning the title. p.s. Funnily enough, I have been and still am cheering for your team to win and that's partially due to SuNo being a part of it. I am certainly not judging or affronting you for picking him, but it seems like this was your interpretation despite my comment not at all being worded in a rude manner imo. | ||
