The tournament ended when Zest won. GGs. Pig's only good pick was the obvious pick. Serral's probably not too happy with Pig right now.

Pigs steam was pretty good overall. Serral will be more dissapointed that dream couldnt win to put him in the ace match, doubt he has hard feeling towards pig at all haha

His team was pretty good, because of Serral. Look at the statistics and sort by winrate: all other players on Pig's team are at the bottom half of the list, two of them pretty close to the bottom.

edit: Dream actually is barely in the top half of the list. He performed above average, at least.

Bennys pretending he super close with his team makes it hard for me to sheer for him. Why does he think he has to fake it?
In day 1 or 2 he admitted, that he had no saying whatsoever and there where just a wall of korean text in his discord. Why change your mind and pretend?
Still GGs to the players and the obvious good map picks, no matter if done by him or them.

He's being ironic. In the end he was even saying that he grew up with his players and that they had been talking about this team league since they were kids. He's just fucking around. I thought it was funny.

Because this isn't a serious tournament, he is obviously saying it jokingly exactly BECAUSE all the players don't care.
The guys have been consistingly shit talking and throwing banter because that how this was supposed to be.

that's what happens when you got 3 of the top 5 players of each race and a good contender in your team.
Don't practice until you can get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong.

In the end, TY actually won both his ace matches plus the tournament match point game. And he went 4-0 after he was finished with the GSL. I'd say he can be happy with that.

Yes, when I saw TY was the second first pick before Maru/Reynor but it was fair actually. (well, Reynor would have been better but other than that, he was close to serral league on this tourney)

Yes they didnt perform well this tournament, but just talking about the team he had solid depth. Not a supernova, drogo, sortof etc in his team. Not just because of serral

The War Chest Team League was actually quite a nail-biter at times. So many instances of the aces saving their teams from a loss. Great format.

It's hurt seeing Drogo in this category... I hope he regains his level soon.
The greatest deception for me is neeb who didn't win a single map and even lost to Supernova. Special didn't very good either but Armani was fine.

For no brain, solar's result in the last round screwed them but with bunny they had a decent third players.

The good surprises are Astrea, Uthermal who did very well and Clem delivered too

I feel like the winning team of the league should get a proper Liquipedia entry with all the lore. "Benny and the Boys are the most tight-knit group in esports. Founded 17 years ago in the street Demuslim grew up in..."

There definitely needs to be a "TLPD" for a next round of this tournament if there is one.

Serral is 16-3, winning all 11 regular games and 5-3 in ace match, stats of the last match is not included yet

Also, Dream's stats is still wrong

Absolute beasts. What a great tournament overall! I only wish I could have heard even more Benny/Rotti banter.

Yeah that semifinals was the best cast of the tournament for me. Zombiegrub was also really good in her team's matches.

Reynor's winrate is absolutely insane - that's the most valuable player in my book
