I kinda agree with your points in fact. But I think you can actually imagine something that has never been but that could be reconstructed from things that have (and that you're aware of). For instance, joke aside because the game was painfully over, you could actually picture Astrea disconnecting his brain during the basetrade phase, eating all the biles (well, he ate a lot already) and somehow losing because you can conceive these things. So overall you can weave out the idea of Astrea throwing even if I have to agree that this idea will never be exactly what the actual throw would have been - but I'd say the substance left in your mind by what you imagine would be nearly identical to what the actual thing would have left

But shouldn't it be possible to imagine anything as long as the imagination (or dream) is made up of elements you have seen before?

Well I agree completely with that, as ridiculous as "Namshar winning" may sound

But doesn't that just prove my point? The reason you can imagine the throw is because you have seen other throws (oh god, such massive throws...), and from this thought material that was already there, you imagine something else. Hence, it's not imagining out of nothing.

that's what I was arguing but actually I'm not sure anymore.

Let's say for instance that you're in love with someone and wondering if you should tell them. You picture the confession in your head based on your previous experiences, your knowledge of the person, etc. But then when you do it it usually feels nothing like what you had imagined. But one could argue that what was the problem here was a lack of anticipation, not a lack of imagination (you could have imagined if you'd have known how that'd feel, etc). It's very complicated.
