Australia E-sports Federation (AEF) are happy to announce their entry into SC2 esports by hosting a $5000 SC2 LAN Event on October 19th in Melbourne Australia featuring 4 of the worlds best players!

The "AEF Battle Down Under!"

This event provides qualifiers + flights for EU, NA, Asia + ANZ regions!

The goal of this event is to bring some world class talent to town (alongside a local champion) to showcase SC2 to the passionate ANZ esport fanbase.

AEF will cover later round games on their channel leading into the LAN event, so some results will not be published until broadcast.

AEF have not yet finalised a schedule for when the unbroadcast qualifier series will be shown. Will update as soon as that's locked down. Priority was to have the qualifiers run as early as possible to allow players the necessary time to apply and receive travel visas. The games should be broadcast well before the LAN Event however, so everyone knows who's attending, and the bracket narratives they came from.

The R16 Playoff date for ANZ has been set:
Saturday, Sep 14 8:00am GMT (GMT+00:00)

Unfortunately the LAN Event venue had double booked Sat 5th, so the finals will be rescheduled to tentative date of 2 weeks later,Sat 19th October. Apologies for any inconvenience. NA + EU winner are aware of the change, with nil issue. Asia/SEA and ANZ qualifiers have notice prior to their respective qualifiers.
