Traded a lot of marines for zerglings a couple of hydras and 1 infestor, I'd still call it a favourable engagement for Rogue.

He killed a lot of hydras, not just a couple, and a hatch. The problem was that the game was going so poorly that it didn't do enough. Before the fight Rogue was on a 4k bank so he could live even with heavy losses.
It's a tragedy that the only real high level series is kept from us until the end of the broadcast, at a time where WCS will likely have started already.
Valdez feet are on a beach somewhere in Europe, his shorts are in a 50's apple stealing situation and his upper body is on a Skype meeting at a tech company.
Haven't really been following the scene so much these days but why are hydralisks considered so much better than mutalisks these days alongside ling-bane?
EDIT: Is it because of the lower gas cost and thus an easier Hive transition, or is it because of a strategic desire to have more defensive firepower?

Unlike mutas they can actually trade okay in straight-up fights while they're not much worse at defending drops.
Also if you go ling-bane-hydra and it turns out your opponent actually went mech you don't even have to change comps
