Why is there no real schedule for this? Apparently the first group starts in 5 hours and a bit but that's all we know? And apparently Seither dropped out or something?
Who is organizing this and why aren't they doing a better job?

Wasn't it OGN?
Maybe. Can't find anything from them though. At any rate whoever is in charge did a terrible job.
Schedule and official brackets can be found on WESG APAC website: http://apac.wesg.com/ Event is organized by OGN. I'll try to get & share as much information as possible. English broadcast by Wardi and Feardragon will start in an hour, I'll hold the Russian one - feel free to come and ask any questions in chat.
So the bad news is that current schedule includes only one broadcasted best of 3 per 1.5 hour. I'll try to probably grab some additional content for both EN and RU stream, but not sure if it's possible.

...official result page is not updated... considering the amount of downtime between streamed series they could at least keep it updated since it is the background of the stream...
I would laugh really hard if Jim does not make out of group C... Although I still have not idea why they throw so much money in this and made a WCG style tournament. Could easily spend less and make a better DH/IEM/WCS style tournament with a much much better line up
Vipers were made by missclick, he left the game immediately after he realized that he indeed made vipers.
So groups stage is done, I've really done my best in picking any additional series which were possible to grab for our EN and RU broadcasts, but we didn't have much choice today anyway. Let's hope for more SC2 action tomorrow.
However, if you missed the day, watch the VODs to see: - TY vs PsiArc basetrade; - Maru nuking all zergs; - Rex vs Yours Tie-breaker G3 rocks usage in the end of the game.

About how long will it take for us to know the Ro8 bracket?

No idea sorry. If I get any info before anybody else, I will gladly share. I know that even group stage results on WESG APAC website are still not fully set but the best way is probably just to check http://apac.wesg.com/final/starcraft2/bracket.

...since the official bracket is not updated, do you know how Group D ended?

...country-kill 'cause TY was in KT...
He also used to be on Jin Air so in the end it would all add up.

That was obvious from the start. But they handled things differently. Maru trolled the fuck out of them (he nuke rushed the Zergs) while TY played legit (although he had a perfect 10/10 proxy 3-rax vs proxy 3-rax game on Apotheosis).
Actually I doubt any of them expected to win anyway. The Chinese players are probably not too upset if they can qualify for the Global Finals and then lose to the Koreans (or maybe Rex beats Jim? Idk)

...I have faith that XY could upset and *almost*-win an ultra cheesy game vs. TY...
EDIT: probably not tbr, but I'm trying to be positive...

Hey remember at the start of last year where Jim won a game against Maru and did okay in the other games? Maybe history repeats itself.
Considering how I've seen Maru play so far - incredibly cheesy and with no respect for his opponents - I wouldn't be shocked if he dropped a map doing something stupid.
Still, no schedule. I guess they'll start at 12 KST again.

...yes, for the other qualifiers they started almost always at the same time but this apac qualifier is kinda weird and with way less "attention on sc2" than the previous ones...

He almost lost a map to PiLiPiLi. No idea what he was doing

That's what they showed on stream
...that's so dumb... the apac part of this tournament did not receive what it should have in terms of coverage and attention...

Of course I remember that.
Although TY won twice as much money now as Stats did back then.

Guys TY just won this tournament teamless, is he the new one man army?
I thought KT is still supporting their players until HSC?
Nobody stopped calling ByuN the one man army after he joined a team so it should also work for someone who is on a team that only exists until next week
Thanks everyone for watching, VODs can be found on YouTube.com/wesgcom. Finals will be there hopefully in few hours. Global Grand Finals date is still not figured out, will let everyone know the dates as soon as we get any information about that.

First place in the main event is $200,000. This was the APAC qualifier where 1st place was 12k.
Bah I thought TY won the whole thing. It was just a qualifier? Lets see if TY wins a tour for once.
Well the only decent opponents are Neeb, Nerchio, Scarlett, and Maru.
Maru/Nerch are the only ones that should be able to give him trouble, and he's already dominated both of them hard in the last month. Then again it will be played on new patch

To be fair, this qualifier has a bigger prize pool than most tournaments in 2015. So you might as well give out a trophy because it's essentially a tournament.
