Been is somewhat likely to show up cause Pet is viewed as an achievable goal by most people, so there are expectations on this match.

And Pet did not really play badly ... against herO, it was a bunch of strategies mixed together, what you don't see that often. Looking forward to it!

He made one top 16 in all four starleagues and 50% winrate in proleague. Nerchio bopped Classic, the winner of the SSL season...I forgot Again this is true. I wouldn't really focus too much on a the Starleague he won over a year ago in a different expansion. But Classic is definitely one of the top players in LotV. Top16 finishes in GSL and top 8/4 finishes in SSL. You have a foreign tournament winner against the SSL winner and completely bopping him. Patience, who won against the other Starleague winner bops Nerchio, and then said Starleague winner partially bops Nerchio. Yes, Maru has won two starleagues but the last one was over 1.5 years ago in a different expansion. He's had great success in team leagues but done virtually nothing else in LotV. But remember, people thought that the foreigners would get completely bopped, but instead, these are champion level boppers who are getting bopped by relative no names with regards to the highest level of bopping. I generally agree with this too. Although there were some believing that Neeb would get out 2nd (with ByuN first). But to advance first without dropping a map shows that Neeb is probably the best foreigner when it comes to taking on Korean competition. [/QUOTE]

GG, can't believe I am still jetlagged after being in Korea for 5 days well Maru interviewed that he only prepared for his TvP in this group LOL. I guess it will be 0-2 if he prepared TvZ as well ![]() Koreans have been slaying foreigners in foreign events in EU and NA as well for past years ![]()

Rather, it was Maru having the edge (either by experience and intuition) in a rare non-standard situation: low econ late game. Maru was more confident in making risky but clutch moves (sniping hatch with marine raids), Nerchio being more cautious (keeping his army clumped up and making half-hearted ling runbys). Nerchio could've won if he was braver, by launching a full frontal assault when Maru splits his army too thinly doing the raids. It was a masterful tactical game plan by Maru. Exactly, well written. During game 1, I think that the old Maru returned, who was destroying opponents left and right ... he has won several games against Zergs like this ... late game, low economy, from a practically lost situation ... Game 2 was a Zerg favored map and a clear game for Nerchio, while Game 3, it was already the classic Maru, relentless and when he let the first Manner mule fall, everyone thought, it is a balanced game and he probably wanted to throw a scan ... well, he did not :-)
