The problem is giving him a replay of Maru and the chance that he could do anything with it, like giving it to someone else for money. Of course he won't do it, but rules are there to make sure nobody can do it. Kespa is rightly VERY concerned about any kind of cheating. They can have a KeSPA official stand next to him while he watches it. And then get rid of it forever. He's still in the building, it's not like he can do much if they just have a guy standing next to him.

You people take Nerchio way too seriously anyway. A lot of the things he says especially in this forum are specifically to trigger people who take them seriously.

They can. Or they can have a rule that saves them one person standing next to him who can do something else instead. They chose the first option and it's a sensible choice.

Maybe it's just good guy KeSPA trying to save Nerchio the pain of seeing himself get manner mule'd?

Yes, he deserves all the sarcasm (because he trolled first), not the loss.

Realistically, how many other things would this guy not manage to do if he spends an extra 10 minutes paying attention to a player watching the replay of the match he just played?

Thrash talking is fine. Dark is a thrash talker, but he plays in Korea and has won multiple tournaments. Talking shit about korean zergs when you don't play in Korea and have no real results to back it up is irritating.
That is why Nerchio gets shat on when he loses even though he played well.

How long does this guy has to wait for? 10 minutes? half an hour? How long would the player be allowed to watch the replay for? Can he stop the replay? Can he rewind? The rule would need to be complicated and take all the possibilities into account. They chose a much simpler rule. Because they are not dumb.

even he would lick the beautiful TL users like you all the time, you would find a way to criticize him because he is not korean.
he played well, brought hype and fun trashtalk, did his best and everyone is a bit more excited about blizzcon now. that seems good for me.

Thanks to classic for reminding us that protoss can still lose in this tournament :D

What I`m trying to say is, there's a golden rule called "Do as you would be done by."
Hence, if someone bragged oneself and then crushed by the one he ignored, he deserves all the sneers on him.

Nerchio, I wish you better luck next time. So at Blizzcon.
Oh yeah also if there are no more tournaments with WCS points before Blizzcon, you'll be in a group with Dark. So you can already start sharpening your ZvZ.

If you lose you're obviously the weaker player in that specific game, asshole or not. I obviously said in my opinion, the loss is a win for the world if it's an asshole on the losing end, and not a good person who contributes (an example in this case would be Snute - he posts here and has a great attitude in general).
Maybe I'm reading too much into posting, taking it too seriously. I doubt it. It's not really a big deal. I don't actually dislike anyone, really, and I wouldn't have minded Nerchio winning. But even you admitted he posts to 'trigger' people, AKA is just annoying and doesn't contribute anything. So him losing, yeah I don't mind that one bit.
