Good to see that the koreans still rofl-bbq-headbutt-own foreigners. Looking forward to the 2nd half :D.

I saw that Parting had a few 2-1 s, were the series close? Or was it only some weird cheese thing?

Well to be fair those were low tier foreigners.

Two were Nexus first PvPs, the loss to SortOf was a lategame PvZ where he got outplayed

I like the sound of "Nexus first PvP", i hope LotV brings more of that.

Since when do you care for this national bs? :D

I've always given a shit about Canadian players, but since Nation wars started up again I've gotten the nationalism bug in me. Besides, I think it'd be great for the SC2 scene to actually have regional equality and representation.

Well i think it would be neat too, the competition would get more interesting for sure.
But atm it's simply not that realistic i fear.
WCS region lock incoming?

Imo locking out koreans after the game got even more dependend on multitasking is not really possible any longer. The gap will get ultra obvious at mixed tournaments.

Doing a top 5 would be uneasy and idiotic considering the low amount of data we have so far.
But what we do know is that Snute won an offline tournament on LOTV with convincing games so he'd definitively belong there, regarding the other we can't judge easily but we do know some have some good potential according to what we saw on online cups.

Regarding bly he had very successful online road but if you really look at his games I mean really ( APM, multitasking, bo and such ) i don't think he'd be top 5.
