Because he's a skilled player and exciting, so it sucks to see him go out, same with Dream who both have higher potential play than Hydra/Rogue, and makes a Dream/Maru vs sOs/Rain much more interesting. Rogue is an exciting player, but his peak isn't as high.

Maru always lacks map vision and has never really had great scouting. He's never been great when he's not in the driver's seat. This is true, which is why it always surprised me that Polt and Maru were the two best terrans during the blink era. Polt is the opposite of Maru in so many of these ways. Polt, MMA, Taeja are the three terrans who I think are probably the best when not in control of the game. But not Inno, not Maru, and not Dream either.

I guess we'll find out if Classic can take it again. I noticed that. I think Classic will win 3-1 this time around, but herO could also take it.

And he has a lot of fans because he is pretty exciting while being good. He dropped the ball though.

FanTaSy is at his best when he's not in control of the game. I don't think he gets a lot of practice being in control of his games... more seriously: that's some interesting analysis. Also really disappointing to see such disrespect to the community from Lilbow - tough to say if even NaNiwa or IdrA ever matched that.
