Here are all the builds that came out in HotS in terms of emtagme for Terran : TvZ: Hellbat Drops, MMMM Parade Push, Hellbat/Thor MMM push, and a multtidue of Mech variations Then for TvP: Hellbat Drops, Polt Style Counter, Taeja style defense, scv pull, Mech, and the MMMM mass push/drop style. No one can truly claim hellbat drops. It came out immiedately at the beginning and was used by everyone. Innovation is credited with MMMM push because his was the version everyone used. Taeja was the first played to use hellbta/thor MM push (though you can't really credit it to him since a lot of people have used it). Mech variations are harder to pinpoint since thinks that Supernova did became standard, but only after the various patches to hellions'hellbats. TvP:Again Hellbat drops no one can claim. Polt/Taeja styles were their own. SCV Pull was made by Mvp. Inno/Bomber refined it. Mech was never successful enough that I'd call it a metagame. MMMM pushes were made by Maru (the earlier rendition of this was in his games vs Dear in 2013). Cure was the first to do the mass drop style of it that Maru later took to its natural extreme conclusion. | ||

And in many ways the most successful players by default also by default contribute the the general metagame (InnoVation is a good example of this. DRG also comes to mind). I think InnoVation does however lack a lot of intuition in games themselves and he seems to struggle with nerves in the biggest moments. | ||
