They broke up!!!

there were such a cute couple

Think it's just about how Huk went to some tournament in Peru while Smix went to HSC.

so i have heard so many things...is there any real confirmation that they were together? i also heard something about them being engaged???what do we know about this?

So this was another tournament in which flash couldn't win. Since the start of his SC2 career he has 1 single win. And for some reason people still rate him high. Boggles the mind.

Yeah, just another scrub like soO.

soO is considered superior to Flash because he has gotten to the finals of the GSL 4 times. And even then he doesn't get as much respect as he should for that. Flash hasn't ever gotten to a GSL final, and has only won one foreign tournament. And yet people vote to see him in Hotsix cup. It just seems like he is skating on his past accomplishments and his fans are just mobbing the polls.

Recent games:

Flash 3-0 TaeJa
Flash 2-0 Losira
Flash 2-1 First
Flash 3-1 Zest
Flash 3-1 TaeJa
Flash 2-0 Solar

Recent hiccups:

Flash 0-3 herO[jOin]
Flash 1-2 DongRaeGu
Flash 1-2 soO

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to call you on this. Flash is consistently placing high and occasionally demolishing some of the best players in the world. He is definitely not just skating on past accomplishments.

herO and soO were the only ones that outclassed him and apparently he was sick during the series with herO. The hype can get too much because of his BW accomplishments but it's stupid to deny that he is finally a top player in SC2.

I'm not sure if he has improved a lot since the beginning of 2013 to be honest. (relative to others of course; everyone is getting better in absolutes)
He has been a GSL top16 player all along. Like all the top16 GSL players he is a favorite when getting into a smaller tournament with either many players much below his level or just the tournament being small enough that you can just win based on a good daily form.

Backing away from why he isn't the best player in the world, he is one of the best players in the world, capable of beating everybody and favored against most.

I don't think there has been a unanimous best player in the world for a while in SC2. At least not since MvP in WOL and Life and Innovation for a short period. The closest you can have in terms of consistency is soO but he isn't able to win in the finals . I feel Rain, Flash, Innovation, Taeja, soO, Life and Zest are all in the top tier at the moment but are capable of dropping games in certain matchups. I think Flash currently has the best TvT, one of the best late-game TvPs, and finally an improving TvZ. I'm hoping this is just the start of Flash in SC2, and he gets some more tournament results in the next year.

And not only did he lose in the finals, he was out microed like a gold player. Parting met his marauders with his stalkers and raped MMMM without detection with just excellent micro.

He is definitely not just skating on past accomplishments.

so when I pull out records of other players can I just ignore half the losses of them as well or is this only viable for Flash?

It's kinda sad that Twitch thinks casting a sc2 match is copyrighted audio and muted the twitch vod.

I just watched the Flash vs Parting final game 7, and every single person who voted 5 stars on that shit should just be slapped across the face at mach speed. There was seriously nothing amazing about that match. I'd give it a 2-star rating. Parting made so many mistakes in that game and just used the threat of Protoss aggression to get away with a gold base, eventually winning due to 1 base + 1 gold > 2 base. Flash was overly confident and didn't build a second bunker on the low-ground, which would have helped considerably. The match was mediocre.

It was way worse than the GSL match between Innovation and Parting, where Parting so completely had the game with blink stalkers, but instead of just transitioning like he should, he let Innovation masterfully come back in by trading units very efficiently.

So this was another tournament in which flash couldn't win. Since the start of his SC2 career he has 1 single win. And for some reason people still rate him high. Boggles the mind.

herO and soO were the only ones that outclassed him and apparently he was sick during the series with herO.

Flash has the best mech TvT/TvZ
Bogus has the best bio TvZ
TaeJa has the best TvP

Best bio TvT?

best base trade TvT is either Polt or BByong

People voted 5 stars for the tension of that game played live at a 3-3 score; of course objectively it's mediocre.

Did Flash have +1 attack by the way? I heard that no and it would explain why he lost that fight.
