It's mostly soO trying to survive with a subpar army comp and not realizing that Ultras without a heavy, heavy infestor support are shit while TaeJa is adapting perfectly. TaeJa has balls for taking the forward fourth though, he's impressive in this game. Also Artosis with stupid comments ("if they don't like SC2 they shouldn't even be your friends at this point'" --') and realizing 36 minutes into the game what is obvious since minute 16... bronze league in SC2 And irony? that game was highest level of SC2, exciting and undecided till the end.

I don't know what you source is but I suggest you show it to me. Hint : if it's a B.net profile named by my TL.net ID, you're probably wrong since it's not my in-game ID anymore since around last year. With that being said, I never said it wasn't the highest level of SC2. It obviously is, since it's BlizzCon, and probably the most anticipated match at BlizzCon with that. But my point still stands. It's a (very) good game, but not a 95% 5 stars game in my book. edit : sorry for talking about it in the Day2 thread, obviously it should be in the Day1 one

I think the only game that was worth 5 stars was Game 3!

But either the winner of Taeja and Life will determine who will win Blizzcon.

Doesn't hurt that it was probably the best series of the night. And the "Taeja caps off his career by winning Blizzcon and walking off into the sunset" storyline would be awesome if it happens. This also may be the first time he's ever said he practiced hard before a tournament.

Looking at previous encounters San has to be seen as the clear favourite in that series, right? Him being 10-2 against Life in maps and never having lost even a single map against him "offline". Plus, even if he was able to pull the "upset" and beat San, the next round could have him face TaeJa, another player he has a distinct losing record against. (3-11 in matches) Anyway, coming out the victor against Zest obviously already is quite the achievement, and coming into Blizzcon everything seems possible. Just a tad bit bewildered by what popular opinion on this one seems to be...

I think Taeja will beat Life if Life makes it that far, and San won't play as well as he usually does because of the pressure of the Blizzcon stage where life has more experience in high pressure situations.

Remains to be seen... I definitely wouldn't mind seeing TaeJa in the finals. ![]()
