Hyun is making his EPS debut, unfortunately he faces GoOdy in the first round (unfortunately for me as a GoOdy-fan, that is). Another interesting thing is, that both Ai-koreans are missing today.

Showtime and GungFuBanda are already in the top 4, respectively waiting for the winners of Lambo/Hasuobs and Goody/Hyun (where Goody is up 1-0 :O)

Mention: If you want to be in the top8, play at least 3 cups ( or win straight up 2 ).

Esl Flags do not stand for citizenship, but for residency. While Hyun is korean citizen, he lives in Duesseldorf, Germany. Like Patience and Golden last Season, who live in Duisburg, Germany, Hyun has a German flag. If the mYi Koreans would play in the EPS, they would have the Flag of Swizerland.

If you are wondering: Since the groups were drawn and released a week ago already, seedings didn't change at this point to not screw over every single player who prepared for his opponent(s) in the last 7 days.

Hm, it's a bit sad, that all the koreans are suddenly gone, but GOODY! Nice to have him back, I feel, that he got really screwed over by bracket luck (or rather the lack of it) during the season.

WCS Changes change it all. EPS has had 2 very very strong seasons 2014 with two german winners while koreans were attending. Now the competition lowers again and the koreans flee back to homeland.

I just checked: It'll be the 8th SC2 EPS finals for Socke, 4th for Marine and Showtime. And the very first for Gungfubanda. That's going to be interesting ![]()

I loved to have the Koreans in EPS though - you could see the difference between people like GoOdy and ShoWTimE. I have lost all respect for GoOdy I had before, because he just kept on whining and whining about the Koreans, while ShoWTimE was up to the challenge, training hard to compete. That revealed a lot about the "old boys" mindset.

The offline finals are always awesome.

I used it like 2-3 times on the king sejong game to get observer/high templar that are spread out into the fight, mostly because some of my camera hotkeys were bugging on the esl pcs which made it quite difficult to play lategame properly. not going to say it is a good habit to have, but even some of the top korean protoss players use it in pvt for spread out ht's/observer.

I myself overuse it, which is sometimes annoying cuz i have to reposition everything, leading to warpprisms that are meant to be harassing being over my army, and zealots that are supposed to wall my natural going on adventure. as long as this doesnt happen, F2 is a very nice tool - some terrans should consider using it (sad to see afk units when defending protoss allins) ![]()
