also scarlett will lose WCS AM but still make blizzcon by winning the mystical and oft-mentioned "WCS NA" tournament

Suddenly a showmatch between Scarlett and Bunny gets announced, winner gets 1000 WCS points

but they don't announce the points until Blizzcon has already started and we see the players who are there

actually it would be kind of cool (although obviously impossible) to somehow not know who's at blizzcon until it happens. or have a secret wild card tournament between 16-19 for the last spot and announce the mystery player live

sOs gets 17th place in the standings. Suddenly, Blizzard announces a wildcard placement for 16th place and sOs gets it and wins 1st place again.

he would only win if the wildcard has a $100k 1st place prize though

It's a qualifier so he can still win it I think.
Edit: Looking back, Dayshi can also pass sOs/Cure. He would need to win WCS EU though.

Cure needs to win Red Bull and GSL, so he has worse chances than sOs but can get the same number of points, since it's less likely for him though it means WCS Predictor won't look at as many events for it. But if you assume Cure wins Red Bull and GSL then he ends up in a similar position to sOs, so just look at sOs' events

Wow that Scarlet/Parting 2nd game is so frustrating to watch. Scarlett was playing so sloppy with not making any static defense. Smart strategy but such a sloppy execution.

The problem is that nobody in this game enjoy the game, they just enjoy the stories and the players.

I enjoy all 3

Me too. I just happen to dislike scarlett a lot.

I don't understand this. What's not to like about Scarlett, she seems so sympathic to me (?)

she defended multiple high level harasses with zealots, dark templar and blink stalkers. it was a very very good defense. static D is extremely expensive for a 2-3 base zerg

Well let's see, one of the Zergs is a foreigner so of course she was going to get rolled, and the other is an eSF player that hasn't won a premier since 2012...

were you expecting otherwise?

DRG made the Ro8 in the GSL this season and won Red Bull BG against Solar, Impact, Polt, MMA and Hydra
Also he hasn't been esf for ages and actually was a Kespa player until recently. He was doing well lately

He was doing well lately

or, you know, someone can just be a zerg fan and not always "expect" them to win

i swear most of that dude's posts are passive aggressive zerg trolling

He also has a weird definition of "rolled". Scarlett kicked PartinG to the curb and barely lost to Polt and Cure. If it had been TRUE or Byul or something, everyone would be "well played, but unfortunate", but instead of giving her props for doing so well we get assholes gloating that she lost and idiots still maintaining that there's some insurmountable canyon between KeSPA and everyone else. It's barely a ditch at this point, one that's easily jumped over. Then again, Parting isn't KeSPA anymore, maybe that caused his skill to tank over night.

This event was soo awesome to watch just day 1, amazing games. Can't wait for day 2, also wonderful to hear Day9s casts again, really missed the guy. Day9 and Nathanias, one of my new favorite casters duos =D

What are the must watches from yesterday? I guess I should click through all the spoilered polls, need a better way of seeing them really.
