that said polt dominated game 2 but widow mines were the reason for scarlett losing two games today, and it wasn't like she wasn't microing against them at all though definitely not enough I don't feel as though that final engagement would have happened if it weren't for scarlett losing all of her banelings to that mine shot earlier in the game, big advantage turned into disadvantage immediately | ||

T______T well the short answer is because you have to force tons of engagements all the time after the mine buff because defensive 2/2 ling bane muta is no longer like a protoss deathball so she was in an aggressive mindset all series which you could see from her engagements, which worked about 2/5 times from what i could see. but yes she fucked up. | ||

I wonder if losing against Cure had done anything to her playing mindset because she played very cleanly in Games 1 and 2 against him. In Game 3 she seemed to have done everything well too, just to have everything fall apart due to ridiculous widow mines and infamous Terran macro. Unfortunate for Scarlett; I was rooting for her too. But I think given the state of things, Polt has a better chance of getting farther albeit not necessary winning the whole thing. | ||
