What is their reason? Open brackets were decently covered in previous MLGs, and people really like them. You can read this thread for more specifics: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/starcraft-2/394726-no-open-bracket-at-mlg-dallas-2013

He followed it up by calling DRG Hyun. I think day9 is getting a stroke as we speak. Is he finally going peg out?

However, the shit that the SC2 scene, particularly in NA, counter-shovels on anybody who fucks up even a little bit is equally awful. Criticism that is for the express purpose of saying how awful something is is NOT real criticism, that's just whining. And whining NEVER leads to good results. If people were to phrase their criticism constructively instead of talking about 'worst MLG ever' and how disgusted they are, not only is it more likely to have an effect, but it encourages people who maybe didn't care to get involved at first to get themselves into it, as opposed to the vitriol getting thrown around which actively discourages less-involved people from touching the rage-filled catfight that is pretty typical of complaints I've seen over the past few days. Wow this is like traveling back in time. We had this debate over and over again in the days when SC2 was top dog and Sundance and co were happy to grovel and beg "Give us another chance, buy our shirts, we get it, we will improve!" Every event would be followed by gigantic lists of constructive criticism that would all be ignored. Then they dropped us without a word the moment it was convenient. At this point, for people who have been around and paying attention, there are only two possible explanations. 1. MLG top brass are incompetent beyond saving 2. They simply don't care. I was always defending MLG but my patience has long run dry. SC2 is only at this event because they needed something to fill the gap. They will drop us again without a second thought or a single word said. I'm enjoying the good games that actually get shown but my hopes and expectations for MLG go absolutely nowhere beyond that. They are a terrible organization who will never turn things around.

This was a good win against a very strong opponent, and people are happy about it. I don't see any overhype at all here tbh. Oh it's been said hundreds of times. It's like Stephano basically
